I don't understand how AFI can even be compared or catagorized with bands such as fall out boy and MCR they are totally different. I do like MCR and AFI sounds nothing like them, and they sing about two different things

MCR- death, horror, love, loss etc...

AFI- cereal, mohawks, god, love, sorrow, winter, stars and a hell of a lot more random stuff

ya know just because the song uis called love like winter does not mean it has anything to do with winter. stars and cereal were never mentioned as far as i can remember. this sounds more like some of the mainstream stuff. they do have some simialrities. and fall out boy songs classified as emo are ones like golden and seven minutes in heaven( Atavan Halen). and similar mcr songs are ones like i don't love you and cancer.

AFI is great, and i have nothing against they're new stuff, cuz it's they're band...but i can't stand other bands that are catagorized w/ AFI...like My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, Taking Back Sunday, Red Jumpsuit Apparatis, etc. THEY BLOW!
