it's probably also partly because it's a professional studio recording. sure beats camera mic or distorted quality from live performances.

What I like most about this is the emotion that is clearly oozing from every note.
True, vocally you have matured, but imo this is the most personal and thus beautiful (subjective) song I have seen of yours so far.

I agree with AhenGs. There is no other way to describe this. The song's dedication to a lost friend makes it all the more sombre. Glad to hear you pulled through the difficult times!
