  • well,,,,,if you don't like the video, you can always try to date a chinese lady

  • Looking at the prop pitch it also looks like the props are turning backwards.

Did this entire video get converted to MP4 backwards?

  • Silly alien messages

  • son of a p**ch I don't speak

    Russian.

  • the sound fucked up

  • Wind energy is growing each year after they have learned about it. As you can see, all you got are benefits in taking advantage of this renewable energy resources that provide us electricity to which became one of our basic necessities. Almost all of us are mainly dependent with technologies that makes our life easier and comfortable than normal.Without it, we have difficult lives and this is also the reason why we find some ways on how to generate electricity even in the absence of it.

  • The renewable energy market is gaining in popularity. Fossil fuels and nuclear waste are the biggest contributors of greenhouse gases. Switching to renewable energy sources like wind power will help reduce the carbon footprint. Pacific Crest Transformers manufacture liquid-filled distribution transformers .Check out the website for various articles related to transformers and the wind energy sector.

  • sound is shit

  • the sonds aren't good

  • the sonds aren't good

  • my god man i cant hear a thing

  • OMG PLEASE I NEED THE INFORMATION THAT YOU ARE SAYING!

  • Love IT!!! California needs to invest more in Green Tech!!! Prop 23 is down in the polls, but the Yes on 23 campaign just got a new influx of hot, anonymous cash, so we'll need to fend them off in the home stretch to Election Day.

Hit me back if you'd like to talk Prop 23. We're coming out with a bunch of great No on Prop 23 videos soon!

  • Solar and wind would be located in the same place. Solar on the ground and wind in the space above the solar panels. Their would be one set of power lines.

    E-T

  • why not also put solor pannels on this thing also?

  • funny voice!

  • They should have 2 propeller on each Wind Turbine.

  • YouTube recommended this video. Combine wind with solar and one has a very efficient energy grid.

    E-T

  • @etellurian no it is no, the grid is the power line system. The power line system is hodgepodge,in the way it's layed out,and built.

  • ohhh that is right

  • offshore wind turbin it's a best model for me :)

  • yo no intiendo

  • According to the Department of Energy (DOE) 40% of all energy used in the U.S. be it from oil, gas, wind, solar etc is converted into electricity. There are numerous projects related to the wind energy sector. Transformer company, Pacific Crest Transformers produces transformers for the wind energy sector...It includes grounding transformers with harsh duty requirements, Wind Turbine Step-Up Transformers, Collector Step-Up Transformers, and Dynamic VAR Compensation Systems Transformers.

  • good

  • Bello

  • The poor narrator has had a few too many beers before doing this. LOL

It's interesting anyways, I love wind turbines.

  • I now realize where all this wind is coming from. It's these Giant Fans going up everywhere!! I bet it's these commie-alqada terrorists! They turn these fans on "High" and blow up some wind storms, tornados and hurricanes. Now that America has a muslim "green" president....he gonna blow the USA clean off the Earth!!!!

  • @kdc43 Wow. I don't know where to start correcting you... paranoid much?

  • If there are wind turbines in the sea, a few chaps could paint half of them dark blue to match the colour of the sea. Another way is to stick reflective mosiac squares on to a land turbine so no-one can see it directly.

  • Right, so airplanes and boats would crash into them. They must be white with beacon lights.

  • What is wrong with the audio, bro?

  • this turbine is remarkable. the gearbox is the key. all hydraulic and keeps the high speed shaft at the best generating speed no matter what the main shaft is producing. Also no need for the power to be cleaned up since it keeps at a constant rpm which means less weight and cost. this turbine could be the solution.

  • Assuming that the wind is actually blowing.

  • companies do not place 5 million dollar turbines up for shits n giggles corporations dont take a shit without a game plan. 5 years worth of data is collected before a farm is built. the wind will blow 9 times out of 10. the wind is not the issue

  • Hello WFT. Thanks for the reply. Perhaps 9 out of 10 maybe the case where you are but certainly isn't here in the UK. So far we're scraping an average of 27% which basically means that every single turbine in the land actually has no use whatsoever apart from looking good for our childish government.

  • thanks for the reply, wow 27 percent. i can see your point now. That is some political crap if ya ask me. The same thing does happen here though. big oil companies such as shell, duke, and bp build farms in locations that are not suitable for a wind park just for a political statement.

  • Hi WFT...yeah it's unfortunate the games that governments play with WTs. Over here in Europe it's really getting quite damaging, everyone looks to Denmark as the leader in the game boasting some 20% of gen' from turbines when in fact the only reason that they can do this is because of grid interconnects with Sweden and Norway which are nearly 100% hydro.

Also I've read that in the States, huge tax breaks are handed out to co's that invest in wind farms...

    Anyway talk soon, interesting machine!

  • really i did not know that. that is pretty sad. And yes the US hands out big tax breaks to companies. Matter of fact they just renewed a production tax credit for three more years giving and additional 49 cents to every killowatt produced. Also each and every state has there own perks. States are give wind farm owners tax exemption for the machines they buy, which is huge. Other states like California require the energy produced has to have a certain percentage produced by wind.

  • Yeah we have to be pretty careful about these machines. Trouble is the way they're billed through the media is always the same...clean, green and free when the reality for national grids is anything but.

    Take it easy fella.

  • i agree. same to you man

  • that's unfortunate. You're right, if political views obstruct wind research, these are useless.

  • i didn't understand a word in this video

  • the narrator sounds like he's speaking welsh backwards

  • WTF is he saying?!what the hell?!

  • You're all wrong about the sound. It's actually Ed Milliband talking without his bullshit interpretating machine.

  • I can't understand anything

  • re: corrosion, components can be made out of surgical steels, high density poly ethylene which are non-corrosive materials.

    Bear in MING

  • shut up.. this is not doable in sea water. There is crazy corrosion, Remember!. why don't u people think and start saving electricity at home and turn your TV's and computers off. daaaaaaaaaamn

  • im typing this FOR FREE NOW WHAT!

im off the grid so whats wrong with that?

i run ALL things in MY home form wind, wave ,solar.

  • two words.. OIL RIGS! fucking dipshit

  • Suppose they make the turbine poles and turrets out of non corrodable metals, like bronze for instance?

  • So what do these cost? 10mil each? How many centuries to make that money back? 20?

  • its not about the money it to stop the pollution with conventional power stations

  • ahaa fucking idiot. each one is under $500. Its a fact, look it up.

  • they cost 500,000$ damnit!

  • @windmillman101 no they cost one and a half milion

  • Here's the same video with good audio -

Change the xxx to com to make it work...

    video.google.xxx/videoplay?docid=7413618278732238477&hl=en

  • omg wind power!!1 gjkaghoiuaer!!!1

    nuclear power is kkkkkkkk!!!!

  • shame about the sound!!

  • What a lie, if you do the head smaller you´ll have to do the base bigger not smaller to compensate the weight of the propeller you should introduce more weight.

  • For about a third of the vid, I honestly thought it was Danish or something. Boy, English sounds weird to me now.

  • sounds chinese... i guess this is what english will sound soon... when it becomes more efficient :)

  • my wind power vids expose the NIMBYS...

  • About the only video that shows and explains the inside of a tubine and the sound is faulty?

  • Why dont you upload the video again? Try to change the file format to mpeg first...

  • i didnt get a darn thing because of that annoying sound duhhhh

  • I think wind turbines should remain on land, and tidal turbines should be in the water. Water is 1000 times denser than air and can generate many times the output of a wind turbines of same size.

  • damn the crappy sound!!!

I was looking for something to put in my powerpoint for class because I chose wind energy...

  • youtube messed it up when i uploaded it

  • Then delete it & reload.

  • @kingskater2 PLEASE TRY TO UPLOAD WHAT ARE YOU SAYING! please this is the best video, i just need the inf. for my science fair project! :)

  • What is wrong with the sound??
