I had the same reaction about twenty years ago when we switched from S&W revolvers to semi-automatics. The first thing you notice when you shoot it is that the darn gun just keeps on shooting! At least compared with the revolver where you have to be conscious of how many rounds you have left. The first time you blast through a whole clip it does kinda jolt you, like it does with this guy.

PS- Don't bother with idiot trolls. They amount to nada. Just skip over 'em.

9mm parabellum .40 cal is meant to kill. It will go through a person at close range. Its not as accurate as say a Sig, but lethal nonetheless.

Not really. In a firefight, you're not going to be able to have the incredible accuracy required to get a vital shot with a pistol unless you're literally at point blank range. The fact is, .45 ACP packs a much bigger punch, and you can take someone down with it much easier than you can with a 9mm.

It has been proven that with high quality expanding ammunition (speer gold dots for example) there is very little difference in effectiveness between the 9mm, .40, and .45. Your just throwing around opinions and calling them "facts."

I'm sorry but there's no question that a .45 using modern HPs is going to make a bigger hole than a 9mm HP. With a .45, you're talking about a round that can be anywhere from 50% to 100% heavier than an average 115g 9mm. More mass means more thump, a bigger hole, and more hurt for the bad guy. 9mm vs .45 cal is and will always be a question of quantity vs quality. Pick one according to your needs, but do not claim one as objectively better than the other.
