My x-wife was in Iraq in 2003 and I went to the courthouse and presented a hardcopy of her military orders. No good they wanted to see her military ID, this is totally wrong but I went with it. I explained that it is in Iraq with her. I asked can she e-mail a scanned copy? No computers in that office of the courthouse. Can she fax a copy? No fax either. I suggested that I have her go to Kinko's of Baghdad and send them a copy by U.S. Mail. That would do... Maybe not 1860 but 1960 certainly.
