I've been following Michael's career since his first appearance at the Pocono Blues Fest, where "Make it Rain", his debut Alligator release, was being promoted. It sent chills up my spine. To answer "leftystrat62": Michael was born in Arkansas, and now lives in Milwaukee, WI.

I had the chance to do several shows with mike,He is a major treat for any guitar player.I been touring the world for over 20 years,and michael has made me a born again person.Please folks the is the blues most hidden treasure.Michael we love you bro.

My favorite song! This man is unbelievable. Raw Blues flavor, He makes it hurt so good. I could cry, and make it rain, just by the emotion and passion that comes off his performances, This dude blew my head straight off my body, and i never asked for an apology, because i Loved it. I have got to go see him again!

Hey Man,
Michael is from Ark. All his Cds are good. But his first one and his new one is really something. His new one is Iron Man and will be realeased on April 8th. Michael wrote 7 songs for this new CD and I can tell you now that Empty Promises and An Ice Pick Through My Heart are destin to become a couple of the all time best blues songs ever recorded. This one will seal his place along side of the all time great blues guitarists and vocialists
