Now Adolf Scipione and his Liberal Party sell out clones are going to remove our civil liberties in relation to Tattoo’s. Some good honest cops with Tattoo’s are in fear that they will be sacked, held back for promotion and forced to wear long sleeves in Summer.
Does the Association actually still exist, outside of the local pub bar I mean? Seriously what next – concentration camps for cops!
WEBER you weak fool, it’s time to put down the schooner, get off your ass and do you job!
As a retired pre 1988 just received a 3.5% pay rise. This is for only one year. Next October I will receive another CPI increase. How is it then that serving police only receive a 2.5%. Is that each year. That is below the inflation rate. You guys are going backwards. I really feel sorry for you all. Good luck in the future you have my backing. Just remember this. If you are fit for full duties you are an asset. If you are injured you are a liability.
Sadly whilst the current government's arse's point to the ground in the upper and lower house, we are done for! The government continues to strip this state in the sake of the dollar whilst politicians both state and federal continue to raise their own benefits, pay and allowances. At the end of the day.... I like most would sacrifice a pay rise for our protection. Who cares about Indust Action.... Work to Rule in accordance with Commisioners Instructions INDEFINITELY! As is the new D&D remains
@whysohardto - the truth is being swept under the rug on this issue. The association can't expect us to believe that SUDDENLY, 5 weeks into an industrial campaign, they just happened to "realise" that industrial action would somehow affect the salary campaign and then as if by some magic trick we are no longer doing stage 3.
There is something that STINKS behind the decision to stop industrial action, and police are not being told what it is.
Police stand to get maybe a 1.5% pay increase on top of the 2.5% already received. 99% of cops couldn't give a damn about the tiny pay rise, we need to focus on D & D. An extra $20 per week isn't going to mean much if you're permanently injured.

Stage 4 now!
Its nice to know the police assoication care more about a petty pay rise, rather than protecting the entitlements and welfare of its members!

I think protecting disabled police officers is a bit more important than a pitiful pay rise which means nothing in the scope of thing.
