Singing wise, again different style's: Kylie:great strong pop voice - Madonna: more musical style voice "since Evita", but still a good solid voice (when she can be asked to put in the effort) Madonna just does not show off her voice fully and DOES sound bad sometimes! Madonna is more concerned with putting on a show on the whole, it's never just about voice with her. Her vocal couch has even said people have not heard her sing her best! Why all the Madonna + Kylie hate people? They are two totally different artists. Look, Kylie's shows are all so camp + majority of her fans like it this way....and that's fair enough! Madonna on the other hand is alot darker, sexually driven performer with more edge. Kylie in my opinion has always been lighter - fluffy/smiley/fun performer. It's all taste people! I recently fulfilled my longtime dream of a Kylie concert with the Aphrodite Live show in Montreal. Kylie had it all..she was personable, gracious, elegant, hit and at the top of her voice. While the Aphro tour is classic sexy D&G Kylie styling wise I really love the styling of the X tour too; I hope the next tour will be another "red lipstick" tour lol

I have seen Kylie several times on different venues across Europe, but never in UK. However, the tour recordings from UK always have this very , well, kind of unpleasent nasal voice to her. Which I guess, is only natural since she has a nasal voice. But when I've seen her live, her voice has been rich and vibrant - is it just because everything sounds better at the live venue or could it be different soundchecks or whatever for the live recordings?

as a die hard madonna fan...i can tell you these two "scenes" are completely different...madonna's Girlie Show "justify my love" took her inspiration from her favorite movie "my fair lady"...the scene at the horse races...right down to the outfits...the Re-Invention Tour was inspired by Marie Antoinette's France than Napolean's (where Kylie is getting hers)...either way the Queen and Princess of pop are amazing...and both put on amazing shows! i can't wait for kylie to come back to the states
