He was missing things because from what he is saying he wasn't really saved, he was just in church. Christians also involve God in their everyday lives, it's up to us where we take our relationship with God. He doesn't make rules about how many times we pray, but we are free to come to Him at any time. God wants us near Him, always thinking about Him, worshiping Him, and living our lives for Him. He thought Christianity was a Sunday service because He never made the decision to live for Jesus.

@borboleta86 Well he actually said that he was baptised, an avid Bible reader, and actively involved in the church so I think that he is very credible. Prayer is very important for Muslims, we don't think that these are rules because prayer is the direct connection to God. We too can go to God whenever we want....we call that dua. God is closer to us then we are to ourselves because he created us all.

@acdixon18 If you have a good deed equal to an atoms weight it outweighs your bad deeds. If you seek sincere forgiveness Allah forgets your bad deed. What ever good you do for the sake of Allah he never forgets. We don't say we automatically go to paradise cause we don't claim to know everything, Allah knows best, but Allah is so merciful that he is not going to punish ANYONE unjustly. I hope this clears your misconception up.

@acdixon18 Yes, we know we're either going to heaven or hell but most importantly we know we will face our Lord. The creation never did anything to justify its own existence, so should we not be thankful to Allah and hope for His Mercy that He put us in Paradise?

if its one type of logic that doesn't hold its this guys. it is impossible for anybody to be sin free whether christian or muslim. Notice at 20:40 he says Islam puts the responsibility on the individual. this is the death blow to islam. Muhammad himself said that he wasnt even sure if he would go to heaven or not. Bukhari hadith vol 5 book 58 #266. if the prophet of islam wasnt sure if he would get to paradise what chance does any other muslim have.

@2sikman so i take it you have read that hadith then. hey man im not trying to show you how big my ego is by saying "Im going to heaven!" but you need to know that hoping for the best does not leave you in a good spot. if all you do is hope for the best then that means that you don't have complete trust in God. i am by no means a perfect person but i believe that through Christs death and resurrection i was given a chance to know God through Jesus. faith needs to be strong

@2sikman having faith is essential for the worship of God true. but when you said "hope that you have more rewards than sin" it presupposes that God has a scale in heaven in which hes weighs out our good and bad deeds. what happens if we have 1 more bad deed than good deed? if God is judging you based on that , will faith save you? even the demons and satan himself have faith in God.

One of the commandments is thou shalt not kill. so to carry out an act of murder is to completely go against the teachings of Jesus as well as the Old Testament.

@JusJuiceIt A slave in this sense is dedication to worship of Allah. Everything you do is for Allah's blessing. Nothing is wrong with being a child of God all believers are children of God. But slave in this sense is not the same as the slavery imposed on blacks in America. So no it's not odd. Some people are slaves to money, sex, their jobs, why not dedicate yourself to the one who gives you life? I hope this answered your question.
