Druze may not affiliate themselves with mainstream Islam because of the way muslims have treated the Druze throughout history.. this includes Fatimid dynasty, Ottoman empire, Palestinian gangs in the late 20's etc...The Druze, although Muslim by faith, have a right to distinguish themselves from other Muslims not on the basis of faith but rather that they have not been acceped by Muslims in general. An issue that is not wholly related to Druze. We encounter this same issue with Salafis (to shia)

Druze and Christians are like 1, but I doubt any Druze would convert no matter what.. even in intermarriage the Druze is just denied, but can not convert, it's forbidden. I am a Druze and extremely proud, but at the same time I feel like a Christian and a Muslims sometimes. Peace.

Druze may not affiliate themselves with mainstream Islam because of the way muslims have treated the Druze throughout history.. this includes Fatimid dynasty, Ottoman empire, Palestinian gangs in the late 20's etc...The Druze, although Muslim by faith, have a right to distinguish themselves from other Muslims not on the basis of faith but rather that they have not been acceped by Muslims in general. An issue that is not wholly related to Druze. We encounter this same issue with Salafis (to shia)

I respectfully comment that there are many wonderful people born today into the Druze culture whom are more educated and would like to know more. There is a great deal more information available than Druze leaders are able to control. A Druze will be murdered for leaving the religion forced upon him at birth. No, this is not a faith.

i am druze...we are muslim...if any druze leaves from believing in one God, to believing in 3 gods (the Trinity), he will pay for it on the Day of Judgement.

Following up on how "Druze" are not connected to Islam... the Mowahodeen do celebrate many Islamic holidays, though most "Druze" forget this, they only do these things as part of "taquia" which is there practice of being secretive about their religion to prevent persecution near the end of time as they were persecuted earlier in time.

Real quick, let me make something clear. 1. Druze is a name given to this faith by the public do to a prophet who went astray named al Darazee.. The real term for these people is, Mowahodeen. 2. The "Druze" religion is not a religion at all, it is a faith. Religions divide people into sects, cause problems, etc. (not all but most, you get the point) 3. The "Druze" are in no way related to or part of the religion of Islam. The "Druze" who think this(which is many)are misinformed.
