  • Etty is my hero and a most remarkable heart to think freely and express mystical and realistic words. I am re-reading her letters from Westerbork now, and often sobbing not only of the hell that people bring forth and receive from each other, but of her compassion and shine that was not blinded or destroyed, but strengthened in the Holocaust. I always hoped there would be a play on Etty. I even started writing one myself when I was teenager, but this looks amazing. Hope to see it someday.
