Try to understand, it´s heartbreaking: Amy was most likely traumatized by the divorce of her parents. She was 9 years old and had proved to be unable to hold the family together. Now that Blake is going to divorce from her the trauma is revived; she slips back into her childhood emotionally. She plays family, she is mom, Blake is daddy and the baby-mice are children. Amy wants to move daddys heart by request of a baby that begs daddy to not divorce from mom.

It´s not such a drug fest as it looks on first sight. Amy was maternal: Look how she handles the mice-babies! She´s telling Blake not to divorce, she loves him.
Don´t blame Blake for Amys death! Amy was an alcoholic already when he introduced drugs to her. And he left Amy against her will without demanding much money from her.
What caused Amy´s death is not known yet, but they know she was clean of drugs.
