I listen to Emory whenever I can, and he is certainly interesting.
Even if you don't agree with his views (and I don't), he still occasionally lets out interesting fact on history.
His main problem though is that the same methods of uncovering sectret "milieus" (his favorit word), can be used to Freemasons, Jews, Commnunists, Illuminate, etc...

Dave Emory is the only researcher in which I don't agree with most of his view, and I personally dislike him, and yet I listen occasionally because he unearths some very interesting items. He usually misapplies this knowledge, but it's still interesting. He has never e-mailed me back on my straight forward questions, which may contradict some of his conclusions.
I don't think Dave ever emails anyone back, and his public appearances are getting fewer. He seems to have a total disdain for the public ... I was sitting in the audience when this was recorded. He does not like to answer questions, he likes to talk, and he does not like to be disagreed with. He also thinks everyone in the CIA. I still like his broadcasts and respect his work.
I would like to attend hearing him speak, but any reasonable researcher should answer some questions from the audience. I prefer Dr. Stan Monteith, as far as locals go. I'm not even a Christian, but I don't feel that I have to be in idealogical lockstep just to listen and appreciate someone's work.
I think I understand his dilemma. Most of the people who ask questions have their own agenda they want to push, and they argue, and it gets unpleasant fast, because this is all opinion. So Dave puts his stuff out there and people can do what they want. I think he needs a business model because it seems he is not doing well financially.
Dave is personable, he is overwhelmed I imagine with life, work, and a growing mass of stuff to catalog that sucks up his whole life. Best thing he could do would be to quit and take some time off to "reinvent himself." I think he's a good guy.

Ohhh yes. Now if you're trying to say that all researchers or individuals do this, there's some truth to that, but Mr. Emory has it down to a fine art. The only reason I listen to him occasionally is that he uncovers some buried information and interesting connections, but he then misapplies it.

How do you "misapply" this stuff? It is opinion. If you have an opinion, get your own show. Emory's persona is such that he shoots himself in the foot in terms of presenting his work to the public. He seems afraid to work with anyone else. His sense of humor which is off the wall really undercuts his work as well. You cannot take this stuff seriously if you hear some of the jokes he tells or the aside comments. He is his own worst enemy .. he needs a manager or partner with people skills.

Very astute analysis-but for me if Dave didn't have his sense of (black) humor he'd be very tough listening indeed. I find it the leavening touch that makes the whole spoonful go down as it were. So you say he isn't making appearances much nowadays? I've seen him 3x but not for years now down here in L.A. I don't always agree(does anyone?)but I find him electric to listen to, and he sure knows how to read from a text!

Even if you don't agree with his views (and I don't), he still occasionally lets out interesting fact on history.
His main problem though is that the same methods of uncovering sectret "milieus" (his favorit word), can be used to Freemasons, Jews, Commnunists, Illuminate, etc...

Dave Emory is the only researcher in which I don't agree with most of his view, and I personally dislike him, and yet I listen occasionally because he unearths some very interesting items. He usually misapplies this knowledge, but it's still interesting. He has never e-mailed me back on my straight forward questions, which may contradict some of his conclusions.

He does not like to answer questions, he likes to talk, and he does not like to be disagreed with. He also thinks everyone in the CIA. I still like his broadcasts and respect his work.

I think I understand his dilemma. Most of the people who ask questions have their own agenda they want to push, and they argue, and it gets unpleasant fast, because this is all opinion. If you peel the onion all the way down there is nothing left. The 911 Truth movement professes to do that and they are full of glazed over people who have mental problems and cannot distinguish reality. I think Dave is right to not go down that rathole of endless BS, it shows that he knows what he's doing.

religions make him against those religions. Since the vast majority of Muslims are peace loving and against extremism it helps them and others to identify extremists by pointing them out. Far right wing fascists in control of the mid east is the last thing anyone who wants peace would want.

That is false. Brittish fascists utilized remnants of the Muslim Brotherhood after WW2 but prior to and during WW2 the Muslim Brotherhood was a German Nazi front organization. The neo-Nazi connection has continued to the present and through the offshoot organizations Al Queda, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and others. The Saudis facilitate and help fund them.

The reason the word "IRONICALLY" is in that sentence is because the Brotherhood fought AGAINST the British (and with the Nazis) before and during WW2.
The Grand Mufti lived in exile in Berlin during the war and helped set up a Muslim division of the Waffen SS.

The British controlled the region at the time and appointed al-Husayni as the Grand Mufti because he was a popular figure. He was pro Nazi.
