This hillclimb was not at the Cherryland Eagles M/C club on Cedar Run Rd TC this was before . It's the Cherryland Eagles putting the hillclimb on at Copemish MI, this was 1959 & before we owned the property on Cedar Run.
The sign in pt 2 at the end is in our garage. My hubby, Earl Moss, was 1 of the charter members of the Cherryland Eagles in 1957 & I joined in 1964. It disbanded in the 1980's. Only 2 charter members are still alive.
back then it was just a strugle to get up the hill now its to see who can do it the fastest and we do it in like 5 or 6 secs....MAN THINGS HAVE CHANGED
ON todays bikes, that would be called a jump, but take a trip back in time, and throw a leg over one of those machines, and your whole world changes, it becomes a hill again !

*+The guy on the right string at the bottom of the hill is Don Philo from TC & the other send of the string on the left is George Peck of Kewadien.

No sound in these old 8mm movies, but the Lynyrd Skynyrd's groove is a good replacement !

Great stuff! Riding any street bike on such a course would be challenging, even now, and the bikes here look like they're straight off the street

Awesome video. Two thumbs up. I too wish there was audio. But you get what you get with that old school technology.
