  • Pitbulls have a bad rap yet this Pitbull is the best trained and well behaved dog in the park. Breeds aren't bad, owners are!

  • thanks for the pet uploads - I love your taste

  • dum fatty child :)

  • Dog parade. Enough said.

  • Nice to see a well trained pit that is serving the community! Keep up the good work both of you. Ps. Fred, I love your humor.

  • Try this without the shock collar then maybe somebody would be impressed!

  • @dcooper111 Here is a video without the collar in the dog park. /watch?v=v2Knbt0ZQ1U Oh, and by the way.......your videos are totally awesome. More trainers should have dogs as good as yours. :-)

  • @fredhassen lmao great!!!

  • My dog can do the same thing without the shock collar. I use positive reinfocement not adverse training methods

  • @ImperialBallPythons That's totally awesome. I'm sure you don't have any videos of it though, nor will you make one ...........so I won't even ask. Relax.

  • impressive.... amazing job... my red nose is really good. but not as good i have to step up his game ;)

  • great training. that is brilliant.

  • @hannanbrian

it's not brilliant. it's remedial. never bring a pitbull to the dog park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for the pet uploads - I love your taste

  • Nice. well done.

  • I have a question!

I have a Jack Russel terrier for 3 years now!

I have trained it very well and never had a problem, it's just abit stuborn.

But my friend is selling pitbull pups in 2 weeks.

So is it a good match?

A pitbull with a jack russel? I know pitts arn't violent, depending on the owner offcourse.

But is there any risk!? a pitbull is pretty big.

And my jack russel is extremely dominant, it's a male by the way.

Hope someone could give me some advice!

  • The first step in ending the Pitbull's bad reputation and genetic aggression.

  • I have a 10 month old pitbull. She responds to me during training, sit, stay etc. Under distraction though its a whole different story. I was wondering how much it would be to take her to one of your training classes. I know, its hard to tell just describing it to you, but would you say maybe a couple hundred? Im just trying to get a general idea of how much it would cost me. What would be the least amount i would be charged if she is an easy dog to train?

    Thanks.

  • @DeeMeeTreeUs Hi! Find a Sit Means Sit dog training franchise company near you and get a free evaluation and demonstration.

  • @DeeMeeTreeUs American Bullys/Bullies are different then a APBTS, PITS, PITBULLS that is fact. Razors Edge, Gottiline , GrayLines, XXL, Red Rum and Monster G line, Remyline are not APBTS, PITBULLS, PITS Bloodlines that is fact. They are also have English Bulldogs and American Bulldogs in them also. When you cross other bully types you change the Breeds Standard. That is fact.

  • @DeeMeeTreeUs

the same thing is going on with me. my pup is 6 months and listens to me very well but as soon as theres any distractions like anothe dog or kids he wont obey me at all untill i get close enough to him. Im really short on cash for training so thats not really a option for me but i really want some help with it.

  • Her dog is really fantastic. I also have a 3 months pit bull. She is so stubborn. I hope I will learn how to teach her as good as this dog someday

  • Good job! That dog is amazingly well trained (regardless of breed).

  • How do you get a dog to stop chewing on everything it sees??? My GS is 9 months old and she chews on everything. I have chewed up chairs and Paris (my dog) even got the best of my kids bikes. I dont know how to get her to stop. Its really getting out of control. Does anyone know anything to do or say to the dog to get her to stop? WIll she grow out of it?

  • @ozjas people with a job, education and fit? i dont got a job, i am a lil slow and will admit it, ull probably have to say it again to me on w/e u say, and im not that fit, i mean i work out ALOT but, i like to be husky at the same time, as like alot of muscle but u can definately see i got some fat. and i got a pitbull, i never take em on walks, soon ima start again but hes fine without 1 right now.

  • lol my pit is so unnagressive that wen other dogs bark at him he runs inside, and no its not becuase we dont know his backround weve had him since he was a newborn since our upstairs neighbors breed pits, hes just naturally a pussy xD

  • great dog!

  • Another fine example of how proper training love and affection all = an amazing dog

  • Pit looked wonderful... yellow lab went in on the little girl @2:01. Makes one wonder.

  • wow! That is absolutely awesome :D

Rocky is a great ambassador for her breed.

it goes to show how humans have impacts on how a dog behaves as an adult.

  • Great job with your dog.

  • THis is very impressive!

  • One thing I learned working with any of the 3 breeds labeled as pit bulls(APBT, amstaff, staffy) is that they are very eager to please and will try very hard to figure out want you want. People always say the smarter the dog the easier to train. I don't beleive that, I think the more eager to please the dog is, the more easy it is to train. A smart dog may just decide that they are bored with you and walk off.

  • Great dog, you did a fantastic job training him. He is a fine example of an APBT, I have owned 6 and worked with more than I can count. I volunteeringly help my local shelters trainers train the shelter dogs and we always get the pit bull type breeds in there. One of the trainers will be leaving in a month and they are going to offer me the opening, I am excited but I will miss her.

  • good training!!!!! Thanks for showing Pitbulls in a positive manner.

  • Good boy !!

  • I'm surprised to see the backwards attitudes here. If they did a dog census, I would bet 7 out of 10 dogs in the US are mixed with pitbulls, hundreds of thousands of pitbull type dogs in the US, and the terror that big headlines create over a few stories a year overrule all the good dogs. It's sad.

There are many pitbulls in search and rescue, and now police are realizing that they make excellent K-9 dogs due to their loyalty to humans, their endurance, intelligence and train-ability.

  • what a beautiful dog!! I have a 9 week old pit, I hope I can train him like this!! You are doing an awesome job!! Wanna train my dog ;-) hehe

  • You`re doing a great job! And the dog it very focused,calm...

  • Pitbulls are so agressive becasue theyre always isolated and no one wants them at a shelter and you guys need to watch the show Pitboss on Animal Planet, Theyre not agressive theyre scared becasue well thery isolated all the time and no body wants them

  • The dog isa afraid.

It's easy to train the dogs with shock collars or so.

More easy and fast than train them with better methods.

  • Very impressive! What a great dog! He is calm, focused, and poised. These FEMA dogs are absolutely amazing. Great job, and thanks for the great video!

    Keep dispelling the myths...

  • haaaa que bien pero si lo sueltas para que se divierta estaria bien que no

  • sorry, but POOR DOG, how could you do this to him? Dont take a dog if you cant train him NORMAL (sry for my bad english)

  • Poor dog? This is essential for training dogs. You bring them to an environment where there are many distractions. How are they going to learn to listen to you with many things going on if you do not train them to do so? I own a pit and this part of the training is extremely important.

  • look, its my Basenji!!! lol-jk but my 2 Basenjis really do love the dog-park!! they both absolutely love to play and r dog-friendly. really pretty dog btw, its great that ppl like u take care of "such beasts". just look at ur Pit, s/he is beautiful+very well behaved, even with 'my' Basenji sniffing his/her face!!!

  • He does look like he is very much under control and I do believe the majority of vicious dogs have been made that way by stupid owners.

I do worry though, what would happen if that got got loose. He seems so dependant on the trainer, would he be completely defenseless and resort to a fight rather than flight instinct if appraoched in a way he didn't like?

That is a very beautiful lad you have there.

  • Roofiehop, in case you didn't watch the whole video....this dog is a certified FEMA search dog, and if you know anything about that, I'm sure you realize those dogs can't perform if they are too worried to do anything. Quite the opposite.

  • Dogs as smart as the owner. Weather it be pitbull, rottweiler, german shepard or any ankle biting dogs that are much worse just cause less damage.More owners should be liable they are gettin dogs for the wrong reason. that being said the dog has the negative energy.1+1=2 folks.

  • Normly apbts (PitBulls) are not for dog parks, people need to understand that.but at the same time a pitbull is a dog aswell.

  • The dogs aren' dangerous, it's the idiot owners!!!

  • This dog is i9n no way repressed! He's just a balanced calm dog under good control and focussed on his handler. Maybe he was trained using an electric collar but so what? That just goes to show what a good job can be done when they are used properly by a skilled trainer. This video also dispels the myth about Pit Bulls being dangerous, as a breed they are no more dangerous than any other "Strong" breed, what makes them dangerous is being owned by incompetent or ignorant, unsuitable people !!

  • lol if I was hiding up a tree and I saw a pit bull barking at me the last thing I would do is come down lol

  • That's o.k. Pungadoo, I 'm sure you'd be happy to see the Search and Rescue team coming in right behind him to get you down. :-)

  • he's a beautiful dog by the way

  • at the begining at 0:25 and 0:49 it shows two dogs in the background having sex

  • *sigh* They're not having sex.

  • thats funny right?

  • @moneymill34 There not having sex its called mounting a typical dominance behavior.

  • people who subject their dogs to public dog parks are morons...

  • 1tialoca1, who subject people to your stupid comment, is a moron

  • well i guess that makes me a moron if so then youre a ding dong now go play some ping pong.....LOL

  • fredhassen ur dog is a well mannerd dog im gonna use that trick ait means ait...good one dude

  • Excellent. It takes a very good head and a lot of confidence for a dog to do that.

  • Bravo ! thanx for another pawsitive pit video.

  • I am working on my dogo argentino right now!

  • Wow great dog. I want to train my pit like this he gets distracted really easy and doesnt listen to me. Any tips?

  • not represed, tons of work, this dog is completely and without questiojn focused on the task. THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT. THIS TAKES WORK, THIS TAKES EFFORT, THIS IS GETTING THE JOB DONE. Still say, great job!

  • Wow kirid 23, you must really be something special. Why don't you just show us what your dog looks like heeling with you in a dog park. It's doubtful your dog would even listen to you, let alone with you. I know, I know your camera's broke. :-)

  • lol way to tell him haha, got any tips for me about training a pitbull pup. im getting mine in a few short months :)

  • horrible. anyone actually like seeing such a repressed repressed dog? i'd hate for my dog to look like that when he's heeling!

  • If that woman ownes Rocky, she is awesome, thats a crap load of work. So many more people need to watch this video and see what these dogs can honestly become. Instead of watching what the ghetto turns out. GREAT JOB, PLEASE SHOW ROCKY OFF AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, KEEP IT UP.

  • The dog failed, it didn't bite the fat kid :D

  • CAUCASIAN MOUNTAIN DOG is the best :b

  • love the swiss flag on the doggie. wasn't supposed to be a red cross?

  • It is a Search dog vest. Rocky is also a FEMA certified Search and Rescue dog.

  • What does she have in her hand?

  • I believe you're referring to the training collar.

  • she knos her stuff..

  • Great clip!!

  • I always wanted a pit but i could never get one because my mom thought they were agressive but i train the nicest pit in the world.!!!!!!

  • Pits are very nice dogs although it is common for dog attacks human attacks are very low and the only reason they happended was either

1.the Owner abused them 2.They where trained to be aggresive(fighting dog) 3.the Owner was a complete Fucktard that should own a cricket instead of a dog

  • pitbull fighting dogs will never attack humans. Pit bulls were breed for dog fighting and not to attack the ref. That being pitbulls that dog fight are more aggresive towards animals not hmans. look it up

  • THANK YOU!! read a fucking book god i love how everyone of you that says APBT are aggresive most likely A: know NOTHING about the breed or its history and B: have never been around one that wasnt treated like shit. if i threw you in a cage all your life, and only let you out to fight and would beat you if you didnt fight-what would you do? god people can be so stupid.

  • lol i like reason # 3 cause thats true 99 percent of the time. people shouldn't own such a powerful breed if they don't know how to control it.

  • mic, you're dumb. and dot, the dangerous breeds act will never pass in the U.S. because attorneys who know how to research will find everything I did that shows pit bulls are no more dangerous than other breeds

  • if i saw that dog bakin at me when i was stuck in a tree id probly feint

  • I thought Pit bulls where Illegal in the U.S. As they are here in the UK under the (dangerous dogs act 1991)

  • since when did police care about the law.

they can have guns why not pitbulls

  • my girls mom is a vet and i love my dog like a child dont you think ive been to the vet office more than most people in three months ive had tests so go fuck yourself

  • Not in all places. They need not ban the dog but ban the irresponsible owners instead

  • thats not a full blooded pitbull because pits dont get along with dogs they dont not know so what youre seeing here is a cross breed

  • It depends on the dog! I have had several pits and from birth I kept them around other animals. My Goober even played with my ferrets!

  • papers dont mean crap these days we got people who want money so bad that they would sale you any breed as long as it come close to the real deal so I feel sorry for you dude

  • hmm, and someone has no idea what they're talking about (I have a papered full watchdog bloodline pit, so I think I know what i'm talking about) you probaly think all pitbulls are walking time bombs too huh?

  • lol my god is a full blooded papered APBT. and he LOVES every dog he meets. its all how you raise them. and just to prove its all in the training-hes a trained watch and guard dog and will bite on command-just like a police dog. but because he is trained even if i was to send him after someone-once i tell him to stop he will continue to kiss & play with the person-its all training. these dogs do there job whatever it may be just like any other breed. there great dogs-all around. go read a book

  • then ill bet any thing thats not a full blooded pit bull

  • I agree 100% with what you've said. My PitBull is the same exact way. He absolutely loves children and other dogs. We have a Morkipoo(only 14lbs) and he submits to him and every other dog he comes in contact with. Pits by far are my favorite breed. My first and definitely not my last.

  • thats bullshit man lemme show you my pit and her papers

  • papers dont mean shit I had paper on my rottie and once i took him to a breeding expert he ran some test on his blood and found some pit bull blood in him

  • @TheMicEntertainer2 you're an idiot

  • Wow, While i have known pit bulls with good loving owners who were in control of their dogs and so the dogs had a loving nature, i have never seen a pit bull so well trained. To be honest some dog breeds are too stupid to be trained to this degree and i must admit while pit bulls can be full of personality i have never seen a pit bull so well trained or able to work. Before seeing this i would have doubted a pit bull could be trained to this degree . My hat goes off to you. Love your work.

  • That is one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen in my life. I work with pits a lot and seeing this poor dog so repressed by the shock collar is truly sad. Fred Haasen should be thrown into jail for animal abuse, after he is neutered with a rusty butter knife and no anesthesia.

Everybody who is impressed, you need to learn about dog behavior and body language and you, too, will be horrified.

  • haha that's ridiculous. The tail is up, slightly wagging and the mouth is open. calm and content. when used right a shock collar can be a very good training tool..as seen here. there is nothing wrong with dog's body language lmfao idiot.

  • Good dog!

  • There's no "even pitbulls" about it. Any dog can be trained to be a good citizen. It's the duty of the owner to do so. And if your dog does have a social problem, in 99% of the cases, it can be trained away, and that without violence against the dog, but with such techniques as clicking, with loving firmness. It's clear that this dog is very self-secure. Only a dog that has been lovingly trained in mutual respect will react this. BRAVO!!!!!

  • Where could I take my pitbull to take the temper test?...

    MR.Gwinnett I stay in S.c

  • Rocky is amazing!! I need to make Angel like that, she gets distracted easily by other dogs. XD

  • waht am i gonna say, thumbs up!

    for rocky and trainers!

  • that blue healer yapping in back ground is more aggresive than the pit. i't just goes to show you....

  • U R COOL!!!

  • And this dicipline shows that well trained Dogs.. even pittbulss or amstaffs ) are friendly a every time..keep it in yor mind..its everthing about the owner....

  • Amazing discipline!

  • that is one well trained dog!

  • I use a Dogtra with my APBT and the results are amazing. After 2 months of using a clicker, distraction and physical correction, using the e-collar broke the mouthing/jumping within an hour, using the pager as reinforcement.

  • I had all kinds of dogs and now I own a Pit by the name of "Chula", I can honestly say she is one of the smartest dogs I ever had. Including a German Shepard and Labs. As a matter of fact she is house trained and sleeps with my kids. So, all this negativity about Pits is all BS! Is all on the way your Mom raised you, same way you should raise your dog.... P.S. "Rocky" is awsome!

  • Training my pitt to walk with me isn't easy..

He did great this morning when it was just him and me. We went for a walk later with the kids and the distractions broke his concentration. But he's coming along!!

I've seen many dogs in my neighborhood walk their owners and not the other way around, and they're alright with it!

  • janelso33......you need help....your the reason why people are trying to band the pitt bulls..

  • What a great dog! Unfortunate comment from janelso. This person obviously is a fear based person. Hope you can overcome your fears. Pittbulls are wonderful dogs.

  • great job with this dog! keep it up!

  • janelso ur an ignorant prick..dogs r like humans its how theyre brought up and treated. pittbulls r gorgeous, intelligent carin animals.

  • pit bulls eat people right? i want to start a petition... no pit bulls within 10 miles of any schools

  • sigh your so ignorant

  • People kill kids too. How about we start a petition for them too? Deal with the trouble makers before they attack someone and they will show themselves if you have any knowledge of dogs. Don't doom a whole breed because some bastards don't know how to handle dogs you prick.

  • I AGREE WIT U!

  • i wanna start a petition on ignorant people myself

  • ur stupid! we shild ban stuoid ppl like u! and c how u like it! so shut da fuck up!

  • OH MY GOD YOU A FUCKING IDIOT. Stop talking, for all of us. Just dont say anything. Ever.

  • Well done if only all the Pitbull owners took the time to train their dogs properly ,there would be no negative publicity perpetrated by the media, and uninformed public These, and other misunderstood dogs deserve much better

  • pitbulls are a great dog no doubt they are capable of all of these wonderfull obedience tasks as you have proven.

This dog has been bred to fight in a pit without turning. this is their liniage for thousands of years. during that time period german shepereds, ect have been selectively bred for obidience. now i would love to have the dollar figure difference in time in how long it takes to get a pit to this level and how long it takes to get a working dog to this level.

  • as someone who trains schuzhund and also S&R with BOTH shepherds, malinois, AND PITBULLS I will tell you that it takes about half the time to train a pit as it does the others. Get your facts straight, moron. The breed was bred to WORK.

  • the breed was bred to fight they are called american "pit" bull terriers not american "work " bull terriers .

as a pit bull owner i dont like people who try to make them out to be all flowers and candy as this can be almost as harmful as the people that make them out to be evil.

  • u confuse me...?? and pits were once staffordshires but bred to fight by sick fucks with small dicks and no life... so now its in their genes to be aggressive so if you can train em like this then good... so shup yo

  • Glad to see vids like this showing that its bad breeding, not bad breeds that ruin reputations. That's a reliable, sound dog.

  • The pitbull is trained so well. I have one she is pure white and hardly trained, her tail is a whip when shes excited.

here is australia there actually banned and if they find you with one they destroy it which is sad really.

  • ı ve ever seen a pitbull like that, good boy

  • Nice but his heel isn't always in the correct position.

  • Well join the fun! Show us your dog heeling at the dog park. We are always looking for better ways to do things.

  • lol well we don't have a dog park.. lol. Your dog definatly looks better than mine. my boy is still in the lower levels of training. I was just mentioning that sometimes he is a bit far back. He looks great other than that. I love how well focused he is on you. Pitties Rule!

  • Great video. I hope some people like Michael Bryant will see this and realize their mistakes with banning Pit Bulls. Kudos. I'm working on off leash training with my 1 year old Border Collie. We're making progress, which is good. I can let him off leash in parks and don't have to worry about him running off or running after a kid/other dog. We're still practicing, but we're getting there!

  • You should make one without the collar. Are yall weening them off the collar or just keeping it on them?

  • we have videos on our site without the collars, and obviously at all the competitions we are in, they cannot wear collars. This particular dog is a FEMA certified dog that had to pass without a collar. You should post a video of your dog in a dogpark, with or without a collar. Join the fun!

  • Thanks for the reply. I was curious. My akita isn't no where near that good but he is getting there. I love your vids.

  • does every pitbull can be so obedient after training?

  • Very well trained. 10/10

  • lmao, when i played your vid again stinky tried to start typing. need to get her lessons in typing...she's not so good. but she was trying. too funny, wish someone else could have seen it.

  • thank u so much showing how great pits can be. i think my girl stinky liked the vid even more than i did....she jumped up to watch and was very focused on the whole thing....she was upset when it ended so i'm going to play it again for her. too funny. funny smart dogs. too bad not everyone can see the good in them. loved it. keep up the good work. :)

  • He is wearing a shock collar.

  • Wow, he is focused. O_O

  • i Wnt 2 G3t a doG hoW lonG do3s it tak3 2 tran3 for it 2 63 lik3 diz??

  • Thank you Lisa !

  • Wow! I think my Charlie can do that. We've come a long way but as of today he stopped walking ME down the street. I need more training than my dog :) It was actually pretty easy when I got a few tips from the trainer. Sheesh!

  • Our family has a Pit Bull we rescued from the pound. When I take him for a walk you could also sneak up behind him and snap you fingers behind his ears, but only once.

  • ur dog is amazing and a good way to show the strengths of a pit bull

  • If I was that kid, I would stay in the tree! That is the only trained pit bull I have ever seen. You normally see them dragging their owners down the street!

  • Typical ignorance. These dogs are smarter than you are.

  • Pitties are actually excellent dogs for intense training like this. People just don't know how to handle them, then they blame their own flaw on the dog.

  • would just like to say thanks 4 showing that not all pit bulls attack and eat babies. ITS THE OWNERS WHO R RESPONSIBLE 99% of the time something bad happens! GOOD JOB KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! LOVE IT!

  • Very nice!

  • do they do personal protection training

  • What do you do when your battery runs down, you take the collar off or any of the other potential problems with the collar?.. Does your dog perform the same way?

  • pits are easy to train if you can get them to not snap you're a pretty good trainer, they usually do it more when they're pups so its good to train the m at a young age which will make them more pbediant in the future.

  • pay close attention lol at :24 there is a black pitbull tryin to screw that other dog lol soo funny i love pitbulls i have two great video

  • wow amazing ...

  • just incredible dog...

  • and people say Pitbulls are stupid dogs...shows how much they really know about the loving breed :-D i miss my pitbull buddy :( damn BSL

  • That's an impressively well-trained service dog.

  • Gah. Put the shock collar on the Aussie at the beginning of the video. LOL

  • do you mean the cattle dog? looks like a X to me

  • The dog you can see barking at :26. Its got shaggy hair and a docked tail. Looks like an Australian Shepherd.

  • looked like a blue heeler cross to me but hey im into Boxers anyway LOL

  • Very refreshing video, great working dog. Nice to see a video about an APBT without the usual violent crap.

  • Outstanding!! Gorgeous dog!! Kisses to Rocky on his devotion to you and his job!

  • awesome!

  • hewym y dog's name is also rocky he is a german shepherd and alsolike athor dog femal bt trying hard to train them

  • WOW!! Nice dog, great training

  • good dog

  • My pitbull looks just like yours. I only wish he behaved as well. kudos.

  • i wish my pit was like that
