  • Very talented band its a shame they tried to stay on the commercial side of things. Very polished at what they did. Though l was into heavier music at that time l bought two albums of theirs because they were very good to listen to..

  • Aye, "Magic" is definitely their less exciting song on the album, although it always reminds me everytime we score at Murrayfield!!! :-))))

This one instead is also my favourite, very jazzy and bizarre, Pilot venturing into that mixture of funk-and-prog so fashionable at the time, it made 10cc, Supertramp and also (of course) The Alan Parsons' Project well known for.

It sounds a LOT like some of dear auld Braveheart Eric Woolfson's outtakes I lately heard from the first Poe album!

  • Another wonderful track from Pilots 1st album - I dont honestly think there is a bad track on this album, things got better & better as time went on. Pilot were an incredibly talented band and vastly underated. If youve only just discovered Pilot for the first time --then make sure you check out all of their material , you wont be dissapointed.

  • Thanks for this post. This reminds me of Todd Rundgren.

  • Love this song, fuck, favorite song by them, lol

  • Nice post
