  • Cock- Alah even

  • Hey thats kool do you sell them

  • Yikes, what crazy person lets their child stick fingers into the cage of an unknown bird?

Google "galatiel" for more info on galah X cockatiel hybrids.

  • this is one of the coolest birds i have ever seen!

  • well as far as i know the bird was not hand reared but did bond realy quickly to people.

same as a galah i guess,

  • How come the bird is so tame if it was'nt known about until it came out of the nestbox < the bird acts like it was handreared ..

  • awwwww. see?! birds fall in love TOO and NO one can tell them whom to marry!

  • this is a wonderful production

  • Are they typically fertile?

  • OMG I want one

  • Interesting bird. I've seen a Corella cross Galah a couple of times. Great looking bird. Funny how nature works sometimes.

  • does anyone want to see my cross between a cockatiel and alexenderine parrot i call alexenders ringed ne cockatiel

  • Great clip..My budgie has been trying to mate with my cockatiel... i wonder if its just the cockatoo family cross breeding or if all birds can?!

  • interesting..it shows again that cockatiel are nothing but little cockatoos able to be crossed with other cockatoos

  • my senegal parrot and kingfisher lovebird always tried to mate each other. it never worked out tho. so this is very wonderful. when u think how big a galah is to a cockatiel

  • awsome xXx

  • Galatiel looks amazing, its such a miracle that galah and tiel can give birth to a new creature.

And I knew that many people hate this bird, I just dont get it... why hate them? These hybrid animals are just like any of the other animals. If you hate them then you really need some help, like one person that hate hybrid on these forum the other day...

  • @giantfoottruck

Because the chances that the cockatiel and the galah actually naturally bred is very slim. It is possible to collect the semen from a cockatiel by allowing the 'tiel to masturbate on your hand, and collect the sperm, and inseminate the female galah with it.

  • is this bird yours or elsewhere,if its yours you can answer some questions about it,,i want to ask you some questions about it,,Jodie.

  • Hi Jodie, no this bird is not mine..i got the clip from a friend.and posted it here cause people would not believe me when i told them.

and it proves where there is a will there is a way..ha.ha

i do have my own birds, all of them are either found birds or taken in because the were to be gotten rid off and labelled a nasty bitey birds, and there are some videos of them too. have a great day. Allen

  • any idea if the bird is sterile?

  • This bird was an accidental breeding. The owner had both birds in an aviary and they were bonded. Apparently they had this chick without the owner knowing until it had fledged and was seen sitting on a perch with the other birds....

  • @BareFootAviary

    Oh I doubt this.

  • wow thats amazing its like a cockatiel with a galas crest & the size of the galah

  • Wow! That is unreal. Where did you get this little jewel?

  • Lol i have a galah too...but i've never seen a galah cross with a cockatiel!!

  • How did that cross breeding happen? Amazing little bird

  • oh my god! so cute! i have a galah but, never seen anything like this o.O
