  • failed countersteering

  • Not from MCN, from french magazine "Moto Journal"

    Original footage: /watch?v=2ZXYTGV2I6I&NR=1&feature=fvwp (at 4:45)

  • Before this he drove in a ditch because of a cow.

You can see that there is something wrong with his frontweheel comming out of the turn.

  • Yay that bike is fucket...!

  • there is no question if there is question when ;D

  • Hahaah noob :D

  • Shock-lay-blue!

  • ABS problem? yeah, right, ABS doesn't work on side slip

  • The guy is a French pikey. He's got the skills of an American Squid and the personality of a box of animal crackers...

  • you can't spell "ABS" without "BS"...

  • That's a given...

    probably neither....

  • Journalist

    not

    cyclist

  • From what i see he purposely drop the bike ( could be possible)

  • Pierre, como comentamos no fórum a apresentação desta mota, penso que o problema será mesmo do condutor da mesma ;) "V"

  • I think he needs training wheels...

  • i guess side luggage also acts as sliders. lol

  • no abs problem - driver problem.

  • this vid sux

  • ABS sucks!

  • What a waste of a wonderful bike... This is what happens when a (basically bulky) sport touring bike is treated like a supersports without previous knowledge of the bike's reactions and capabilities.

  • buy a busa, so good at taking corners you can do it drunk, like george best.

  • this crash was all about getting on the throttle too hard, the front tire got light and drifted in the direction of his lean, he over corrected, then in that over-corrected position, he got OFF the gas, driving the front tire hard into the ground, and basically tucking the front wheel. Total noob move, all he had to do was not panic, and stay on the gas.

  • that's embarrassing...

  • He is a drunk!

  • That's not going to buff out....

  • web solosolteros punto es

  • mcn anti bike paper... crap

  • he was probaly going 50 mph thats y they made it sloy moe i bet

  • Why did he cut the wheel so hard left before going down? A little too much too late if he was trying to countersteer.

  • how could this happened ? looks like wrong construction of the frame (geometry)

Yamaha FJR is also crap in sharp curves (with small diameter)

at the other side honda (st1300) + bmw (rt, gt) are TOP in this - both bikes perfectly neutral in all kind of curves. And I would say Pan is a litle bit better than BMW because its engine changes tours very soft, so

i believe the best touring bike for sharp curves is Pan-european ST1300 (i had FJR, K1200GT and ST1300)

  • Eh, speed wobble on the STX1300 mean anything to you? I know 2 very experienced riders killed off two STX's at Medium speeds because of that wobble, and it wasn't just Police Spec Pans that had the problem. The old Pan was excellent, I wouldn't take a new one if it was given to me for free.

  • no, because i never drive faster than 180 km/h. In curves is ST1300 excelent (60-120 kmh) - neutral, short, soft running motor, fantastic.

  • Who do you work for Honda???........

FJR much better than Honda - speed wobble king!!

  • lol no grv, i own a new Triumph Sprint now, no honda.

but i made a test for myself - i rent FJR 1300 for a weekend, I made 1000 km with that bike. Next weekend i rent ST1300 and i made exactly same trip - same roads. I am SURE Honda was much much better in curves than Yamaha, Yamaha is absolutely not neutral, it falls into a curve, handling is much better in Honda, motor runs much softer in Honda and and and...

  • french style

  • French Biker..... Kawasaki test in France

  • 'ABS problems' aint gonna make it do that!

  • You know my fjr1300 doesnt fall over when it takes corners

  • hahahahahahahaha kwaka

  • hij dacht vast...wat een kutmotor..ik wil er van af...en dat doet ie dan zo...op een apparte manier

  • OMG......

  • You could say it was ABS problems, aparrently the tester had taken the ABS fuse out so he could power slide for the camera. Not really a good idea.
