Don't let it bother you. BrianMCD86 doesn't seem very knowledgeable either. It's common knowledge that The Buggles' video for this song was the first ever aired on MTV, but what's common knowledge is that The Buggles' version is NOT the original. The original version was by Bruce Wooley, though it was co-written by two of the guys who went on to form The Buggles, where they changed it slightly and recorded their version of it.
