Hi, Mainly use Penn Or Shimano Rods, with the Shimano TLD 25's for our overhead reels, with at least 50lb braid, sometimes 80lb, 50lb stops most things, although we do still get busted up.
what sort of gear do you guys use on Reefari Greeg???...15/24 kilo rods???...80 lb braid or mono???...do you brain spike or neck the fish before icing???
cool vid, here in California we have leopard sharks and when I saw your vids title I thought "those things aren't rare" but they are different species.
Awesome shark, mightn't be endangered as such but a rare catch, Only one I've seen in several years or more, fishing or diving. Good to hear you get them in California.

If you are like me, you were searching for leopard sharks of the genus- triakis. That's a beautiful shark.
