I could swear Bonnie Raitt did this on an old album (actually an 8-track tape) I used to have from the 1970's. Am I mistaken? Maybe I'm mixing up Bonnie's tape with Dory's?
first heard this done by City Down a great all women's raggee group which I have never been able to find on You Tube or anywhere else - but Dory does a Great Job on this great lyric!
I've been looking for this for years. Couldn't find it on Amazon or I-tunes (until after I found it here). 1st heard it on public radio in Detroit at Christmas many years ago. Then my favorite dj was canned and then died and I've been trying to find it since. Thanks a bunch for putting this up, this is a great one.
Dory was one of a kind as this song clearly demonstrates; rest in peace, dear Dory.
