man, i tried to do this with sharpies, but all my curved lines looked really bad, because it jerked and tugged and weren't nearly as smooth as yours. any tips? do i need pens like you have?

what kind of pen(s) do you use? i like the style of the bold contrasting with small intricate details, im an amatuer drawer so im not sure if thats even considered a style of art, but i wanted to compliment your handy work. i have a much more cynical style to my art, but i see alot of resemblances between the style of your art and mine from this video. yours is alot fresher looking than mine though. amazing job. :]
