  • TO LOTUS:

THIS MAY BE A TAWIAN SONG...BUT I THNK IT REFERS MORE TO THE NATIVE AMERICAN CULTURE. FITS IN PERFECT WITH THE STRUGGLE THAT THEY HAVE HAD IN ORDER TO EVEN BE RECOGNISED BY THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT! I AM A NEW ZEALANDER AND HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR THE INDIAN NATIONS. THANKS FOR POSTING THIS BEAUTIFUL VIDEA

  • To all:

I am a Taiwanese. The song is one of our aboriginal tribe's music. If you like it, you can use keyword "臺灣原住民" to search many kinds of these songs. Or you can use the keyword "郭英男" to find this song's original singer in my country. Though my country is small, we had more than 50 tribes 100 years ago and now only 13 tribes left. Hope everyone likes our musics.

  • @asuwwl u know there are aboriginal japanese called the Ainu people

  • I had an amazing short dream, i dreamed i was married with a Native american indian woman of some tribe and we had a bunch of kids and we lived near a beautiful lake with the rest of the tribe so peacefull and everyone was nice, no worries no problems just true love and hapiness, then i woke up to this song my neighbour was listening to it and i felt miserable again :( Send me back!!!

  • Zajebiste!Ten powiew Wolności..Teraz żyjemy w niewoli którą sami sobie stworzyliśmy..Piękna muzyka

  • it may be an asian song but i love it im part cherokee, crow, and blackfoot indian and thanks 4 this song its so moving!!!!!!

  • As far as calling them “Native Americans” is concerned, do I even have to point out what an insult this is? We steal their hemisphere, kill twenty or so million of them, destroy five hundred separate cultures, herd the survivors on to the worst land we can find, and now we want to name them after ourselves? It’s appalling. Haven’t we done enough damage? Do we have to further degrade them by tagging them with the same name as the conquerors?

  • proud to be First Nations :+)

  • I absolutely love this Lotus! Thank you for making this for everyone to see! :)

  • you guys are great...continue making music that inspires humanity....

  • HOLY NATIVE AMERICAN WOOD.

Tapez cela, vous y retrouverez un montage video exclusif sur les indiens d'Amérique du Nord avec comme musique thème, celle du Dernier des Mohicans. • TO LOTUS; IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS ABOT THIS SONG,WHERE IT CAME FROM...IT DOESNT MATTER.YOU HAVE DONE AN ABSOLUTLEY BRILLIANT JOB WITH THE POSTING OF THESE MAGNIFICENT PICTURES AND ITS TOO BAD THAT THE RETARDED PEOPLE ARE REALLY THE ONES WHO CANT APPRECIATE IT. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.. ANNA

  • @ANNA00732 hi thank you very much lotus

  • @ANNA00732 This song is beautiful and I too thought it was a Native American chant. Imagine my surprise when I found out it was a traditional TAIWANESE aborignial tribal song! I'm Asian, grew up in the U.S. and I never hear much credit given to Asian peoples. Period. I imagine Native Americans can understand what it feels like to have much taken away from you and you're never given credit for cultural contributions. GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE, that's all I'm asking. Not hating... just saying

  • @Shverina Forgive me, and I understand your sentiment, but it's a bit illogical to compare the struggle of Asians to we Indians... it doesn't make any sense.

  • It makes sense, because your ancestors are from Asia.

  • @Norden8541 No.. it doesn't. In the ancient world, yes, we Natives crossed the bering strait from Asia... but genetically, american indians became their own race. Never have I heard the struggle of the indians compared to the any struggle in Asia. Ridiculous.

  • @OctoroonToYou Exactly I am First Nations! no comparsions

  • @Shverina credit is given I love the Asian culture and all the beautiful culture of this vast land. I learned something new and I too was misinformed.

  • @Shverina NEE HAO.. Woa ye shu Taiwan zen, so you understand all these meaning as well, wow am glad you finally know the Natives Americans were came from Taiwan, I actual think they're from Mongolia & Taiwan, Laos shanti zen, well we are all one Nation from the old & new generation, I do hope all you guys live in America are WAKE UP. Cos the Rothschild banksters are control our entire world & want to rule it under NWO So watch out & WAKE ALL YOUR PEOPLE UP We all have to be carefull Rothschild!

  • @ANNA00732 I totally agree, follow your heart and make it your own. People that have the time to cry about someone's work have too much time to feel sorry for themselves.

  • @ANNA00732 I do not know who you are friend, but well spoken!

  • @MandosMady: I respect your belief if you believe they were treated "correctly". I have heard lots of arguments from either side. Nice try at the pseudo-insult btw, you're only showing everyone how immature you are. Take it easy and peace be with you.

  • It is not hard to imagine that they didnt stop at Hawaii but instead pushed on to the new world...the Americas. It could well be that the ancient peoples of the America's are indeed related to the other tribes of the Pacific who were at one time from Taiwan (and further back in time from South China).

So strangely enough, saying this chant is North American may one day be proven to be TRUE !

  • There may yet be truth in labeling this "north american native " because recently there is a large pool of thought that the native peoples of the pacific all (cept for the australian native people) originated from Taiwan. Before Taiwan they may have come from South China (but they were not Han like the present Chinese). For many thousands of years they have lived in Taiwan and branched out to people the philippines, indonesia, malaysia, tahiti, new zealand, and even as far as hawaii.

  • I'm Native and this song really resonates with me. Makes me cry...

Love and prosperity to all. God bless. <3

  • You misunderstood what I said. Not your fault, what I mean by "factually incorrect" is this video/pictures saying it is Native American. Perhaps maybe even the songmaker made it out to resemble Native American but, hence like I said, it is what this video is.

  • you co.cks.ucker

  • i sit an wonder, what do i do, where do i go, im lost here on earth, whats next, im depressed, talk to me

  • share this thing to every1 you kno, the 1st 2 verses, then go into urself then youll see

  • have faith in what you believe to be ur own truth respect urself before you try anything outside that relm, be wise what you say(you recieve what you think), the world is kind and respect this

  • I don't know who's in worse shapw: Native Americans or Taiwanese Aborigines. I hope they could join hands to reverse the fate of vanishing First Nations of the world.

  • is it just me? or does the first Indian look like Christopher Walken?

  • all people are beautiful. we should all love eachother. we all share this planet

  • Beautiful pictures, as one who is half cheerokee, can we just give the land back to the indians, besides they were the first americans and i love this tune

  • Contrary to popular belief, there were tribes who believed in owning land in the Eastern Woodland. This was the reason for the Pontiac Uprising, the wars against the Algonquin and the Iroquois, Chippewa and the Sioux, and the Chippewa and the Fox. The Navaho were very attached to their land. Many Nations referred to their land as the 'Land of their Ancestors'. It is a big mistake to think that you can take someone's land by saying "They say they don't own it, so I can have it."

  • im kurs n ur music has made me feel something that ive never feel before, can i be an apache some day after life....

  • Beautiful pictures

  • The native American's ideal of self determinism and personal liberty will spread around the globe. Enslaved indigenous peoples from Ireland to Taiwan to Egypt are coming aware of the reality around them. We are living through a renaissance of thought. Mankind is growing up to realize power resides in the individual and cannot be concentrated without attracting corruption and decay. Very nice artwork, thank you for posting it.

  • It is not until the mid 19th century with the arrival of Irish Catholics in the northern continent that the policy towards the Native Indians became one of cruelty and extermination.

  • It is no accident that only the nomadic plains Indians survived. The Spanish and Portuguese destroyed every sedentary and farming civilisation they found. The people were killed outright or enslaved. The whole southern continent was enslaved by 1530 and by 1570 Portugal had a vast slaving empire all along Africa’s western coast and Africa’s ancient civilsations had fallen

  • The Roman Church found out about the Americas in the 10th century from the Nordics. They discovered the people of the southern continent had incredible riches. Importantly they also knew the natives’ weaponry was no match for European armoury. The Papacy made the secret decision to conquer the New World. As the riches they wanted were in the southern continent they needed a suitable launching pad. They chose the Iberian Peninsular and called the crusade to overthrow the Moors.

  • after listening to this song , i believe that native americans can really transform themselves into wolves .lol

  • Native Americans make us gamble lol

  • this song makes me cry

  • you can search "DIFANG - ELDERS DRINKING SONG "

  • No. They are all too powerful. Am a direct descendant of Wills as in Burke and Wills.....

I feel at one with the American Indians fuck the whites and their ways

  • @MgpMontville I hear you but there are no worthless cultures. I wish to God mankind hadn't done half the stuff it's done.

Honestly, I'm not sure man has much time left.

  • Why do people always think this is a Native American chant? It's actually an aboriginal Taiwanese chant.

  • It is from Taiwan!!!

It was sung by 郭英男 , a Amits man

  • i am native of earth

  • check my channel for the REAL SINGERS of this chant! seems as though my original video response was magically deleted from here.........

  • world peace pass it on from thr uk

  • its taiwanese! not native american ;)

  • too wonderful music!

  • I am a Cherokee peace Chief. Can you not find it in your heart to not fight or make bad comments. There are many other places to do this. Please try and keep it peaceful. Thank You Healing Bear Peace Chief Cherokee Nation

  • This song was sung by a Taiwanese aborigine, from one of the many tribes. Each tribe has its own unique language BTW. I used to hear them singing like this when I was a little one :)

  • although everyone knows this is originally from a Taiwanese Aboriginal melody, I believe the song itself captures the essence of all native peoples and the pureness of their cultures. It is factually incorrect, but we should still appreciate the effect it can bring.

  • @chopstikz85

so this is not a melody from native American. Good thing that you corrected it.

but as you mentioened, "we should still appreciate the effect it can bring"

  • @chopstikz85 factually incorrect huh, listen to ur footsteps my friend, 1 in front of the other, there is no facts wrong here, i respect your opinion but your originally from asia, ( i kno), be respectful to your own grandfather, i believe in nothin no more

  • @chopstikz85 im offended, who r u , u phucker, ive been here since the srtat

  • @chopstikz85 i don't know if natives from all around the world are that pure... some sacrificed people so their crops grow, to be plenty of fish, the sun to appear on the sky and other crap... seriously now, nice song, but don't say natives are that innocent!

  • @MandosMady I guess "pure" can have a double meaning. Pure as in innocent and pure as in untouched. What I am referring to is the latter. Untouched and unchanged by man who wanted too much, that is what I am talking about. I think you are familiar with the injustice Native People have had to endure. And also, you may think those things are not innocent, but it was a way of life for them.

  • This is from a Taiwanese aboriginal song, not native American...please correct the error!

  • i think all white people should give the land back now and return to europe and all black people to Africa no offence because its their land u always no that trespasser will be prosecuted. if u have seen "Avatar" than do the right thing

  • @yomamafool1 what about americans who are too poor to move?europeans dont want us back there

  • In my dreams, my heart cries in my dreams my life is over, but if I wake up and close my eyes my soul flies the starry sky where I crossed sacred rituals and spaces where hands touched my life and the sun brought me back to earth

  • i frikkin love this!!

  • Sung by Taiwanese natives...not native Americans. But who cares? Its always only the natives that can sing such spiritual songs nowadays.

  • Can we give the land back to Native Americans now?

  • @Lanlegend08 i love the way you said that cause i am native american and we lost so much and have so little left so thanks very much for your comment to say that nia:wen(thank you)

  • @Lanlegend08 WE CIVLISED THEM AND built america, we have weapons what has the native invented huh?

  • @Jimmyretired

    ARRRRGH!

It's not native American, it's an Amis chant from Taiwan sung by Difang and Igay Duana (now deceased).

  • @Jimmyretired No you didnt "civilize" them. They already had their own civilization - what makes you think yours is any better than theirs? Their civilization served their needs, yours serves yours. They are completely different, and for you to say that yours is superior is total bullshit. It's not. Look at how it is destroying the earth, the environment, society, all of it. And look at what your civilization did to the Native Americans, it didn't civilize them it destroyed them.

  • @Jimmyretired Lets see...Medicines, The modern Calender, the concept of Zero, Brain Surgery, the entire human anatomy was mapped by Native people and is currently still being used to this day. We build the Sky Scrapers in NYC because native people were the ones brave enough to do so, American Constitution has a lot of its background based on Cherokee and Iroquios governance, Cities populated larger than any in Europe at the time. I can go on and on. You were never civilized just feral.....

  • @stevil78 Sky scrappers in New York are built because people from Britain feel closer to home there..after all UK is just on the other side of the water...

  • @Lanlegend08 THis video is what collector dishes are made of. And we could resume addressing American Indians as Indians...won't hurt our feelings at all............

  • @Lanlegend08 give them the recognition that their land is sacred to them and to give awareness to the conservation of their culture, lifestyle and welfare.

  • @Lanlegend08 No. Because the land doesn't "belong" to them. It doesn't belong to anyone.

  • @Lanlegend08 Well if that appends all te yankees have to leave and destroy the citys u know

  • @Lanlegend08 Our society is growing apart, we need a better sense of brotherhood here in America, AMerica needs to become more of a community without Government telling us how to help people, but rather we should be helping each other without Government. People from all different cultures coming together is Americas greatest strength, we need to learn from history and each other. It's time to move on for a better America, and the Native Americans I think could play a big role in teaching us.

  • @Lanlegend08 bit to late for that

  • Oh my... FINALLY!! I've been looking for this song such a long time! It;s AMAZING!!! SO tranquilizer! Love it!

  • Just thought I'd give a little background to this song. As you see in the highest rated comments the beginning is sung in Taiwanese. It was from a recording that a group of people made by asking a native Taiwanese man to sing. He was paid fifteen dollars for it. When Enigma made this song it made millions before it was used in the Olympics. The Taiwanese man was given no credit and never paid anymore. I guess you can still enjoy the song but I just think it's something people should know.

  • @silverwolf919 was sung by a husband & wife in their eighties, from as u say from Taiwan, the couple were bought to France to record the song, France tried to claim the song, then Enigma stole it, the end result being the Taiwanese couple were paid a large amount of damages from both France & Enigma.

  • @pete7861 ps, Nothing to do with native Americans

  • This song is sung in the Taiwanese language, just in case any of you are thinking it's Native American. Enigma sampled the background singing from DIFANG - ELDERS DRINKING SONG (without permission and were sued). I also used to think that this song was an old Native American Indian man singing, but nope, its from Taiwan in East Asia.

  • A beautiful tribute to those who were slaughtered without mercy, may the great spirit forgive us! forgive us!

  • this is the most amazing and relaxing song ever

the native americans are the greatest singers ever

  • I feel bad for Native Indians, they gave European voyagers gold and food upon arrival, and the white Europeans in turn raped their women and hunted them like animals.

  • @modewr Well.. they certainly did and look what we have now.

  • Essa foi umas das melhores homenagem aos inativos dos EUA que eu assisti no youtube.

    fabiano. campinas. brazil

  • @Axemaniv im 1/8 cherokee and have never stepped on a reservation i would love to kick it with my ancestors....after all we took their land from them,,,,:(

  • My people! Taiwanese Aborigines! My mother heard this and began singing along. Chanting and Dancing. I wish I was born in Taiwan to understand this =(

  • @fsuchino that is is so cool, before this song i never knew that there was indigenous people from taiwan, btw i'm an indigenous from laos
