Cockatiels and budgie with Millet

They can get along right? I am moving in with this one lady and she has a cockatiel, I have a budgie. I know how I'm gonna introduce them to eachother, but I just wanted to understand that they can get along. I think this video proves it.

Is too much millet bad for a budgie? I just gave two of my birds a millet for the first time and they bith love it and seem to have finished it in like 2 hours lol. Is there a limit on how much to give them, is there anything else that I can give my bidgies which will make them love me?

@angel38325 YES! Too much millet is killer. Glad you asked though. Millet and sunflower seeds are unhealthy and should be given as a treat, not their daily diet. Millet can be given 2-4 times a month. (once every week or once every 2 weeks.) if you already give them fruits and veggies (and they eat them) then it's not bad. But a lot of times, there is already millet in bird seed, just not millet sprays. So if they do get fruits/veggies daily, i'd say give them millet about once a week. If you

@NinjaPr00 Cockatiels CAN be put with budgies yes but budgies are quite strong minded & can get the upper hand with aggression. Cockatiels r bigger but gentler by nature. An aggressive bug. can seriously bite cock's feet & pluck their plumage. U have to watch carefully 4 a while to be sure they are bonded & be sure the budgie is "playing nice".

my cockatiel loves millet but not my parakeets. They are still afraid of it for some reason. I tried getting them to have some several times, neither of them would take a bite.

My budgie likes to hog big spray millet and honey sticks! XD

Both are native to Australia. They get along fine together in the wild.The native budgie is green in colour..They are very clever! You have lovely birds.
