its possible. i bought a taper kit at a piercing studio by my house and a couple 12g needles and i went from having no piercing, to piercing it with a 12g and stretching it to a 4g in a matter of 5 minutes. does not hurt..if you do it at home make sure everything is sterilized before you use it...though its new, clean it again for safety.

people who say 'blowout!!' are retarded. a blowout is caused when the pressure on the inside of the fistula is too great from stretching too fast or skipping sizes, causing it to 'collapse' and push itself out the back of the piercing.

blowouts only occurs with healed fistulas, and as the piercing was fresh, he won't get a blowout.

You are the dumb shit. Blowouts are not caused by already having scar tissue. Blowouts are caused by creating too much pressure on the inside of the piercing, forcing the flesh and fistula to pop outside of the hole.

Also, there is no such thing as "a taper that is designed not to rip your ear". With how much he just stretched, 90% of his hole will now be full of large tears. Seriously, even stretching up one size at a time every 2 months causes micro tears.

If you see blood or what your trying to put in isn't going in the all of a sudden it just slides in you probably tore your ear. This seems very dangerous to me where he could of got a blowout. You get a blowout from skipping sizes or stretching too early. You're supposed to wait a month between stretches but I only wait 2 weeks and mine are fine and thick.
