  • quick, probably silly question...after teaching your dog to leave your hand alone when you have treats, how do you get them to follow your hand as a lure later?

  • Good for you! Useful video!

  • Hahah, I love how the other dogs lie in a row and watch :D

  • I know it sounds really really silly but... when I watch videos with clicker and my dog is nearby she must get a treat after the clicker sound? I've heard that every time the dog hears the sound, (s)he must get a treat, otherwise the device will lose its power and meaning.

  • Heeeeelp! How can i stop my great dane pup from eating the couch while im not at home? 3rtd time now.. I think that he gets very exiting when he plays with our frenchbulldg and then he eats the couch... How can i stop him kikopup?

  • @TioMoka crate! i'm pretty sure kikopup has a video on it as well.

  • 4 down stay calm dogs in the background. Wow! You are a Doggod. :) Thanks for the video and I love your pups!.

  • thank you

  • Oh my, I think my favourite part of this video is all four pups patiently lying down on the bed while you're clicking and treating the other dog! Any tutorials on how to get that fabulous behavior? Hahaha. I've had to train Sparky and Pepper in separate rooms as none of them are this calm and patient yet!

  • Just wondering, are you a YouTube partner yet? I don't really know much about the process but I think you can earn a little for being a YouTube partner. I think being a YouTube partner might get you more publicity, getting more views on your videos and most importantly, convey the message more towards the public. Good luck and thanks for making these videos!

  • @CrazyDragonCross She's a youtube partner as she got custom banners on the channel and can choose custom thumbnail for videos which can only be done by youtube partners.

  • @CrazyDragonCross She is a partner already, but gets around 1 dollar per 5000 views...or less. /Martina

  • Hi! Thanks for the new video :) Ronja had a lot of trouble with stealing when we first got her (she would steal all my sandwiches) but now I simple say "leave it" and she'll back away. The strange thing is, we only taught this behavior with the cats food, but now she even leaves my sandwiches alone.

By the way, have you heard of Treibball? Seems like a really great urban hobby, you should do a video on it sometimes!:D

  • Great video! I love the doggie line up on the bed, haha.

  • That first line should say "I have been sick."

  • I have been I'll this year and not able to keep training my boy and girl. They are 111 and 96lbs respectfully. I can not control them at all when it comes to a leash - or anything else for that matter. Where to I start? They know to sit and to stay, kinda of, so they can learn. Can I teach? Don't know.

  • How do your other dogs know that click isn`t for them? Thanks :)

  • Hi kikopup , im getting a JackRussellTerrier for this 20th or 21st ..He is gonna be 1 month and a half . Where do you think i should put his bed to sleep ?? Im my room or at the livingroom??

Im in Peru and in the night it gets cold . Hope you answer

  • Never seen that dog before! Is it yours? Name? Breed? :) Love your videos btw

  • @EmmaPups579 She belongs to a friend of ours (we were dog-sitting)! Her name is Mia and she is a 1 year old gorgeous rescue from Spain, from the same organization as Trisch actually :) /Martina

  • @Myriadmakrame okay thank you. my baby sister is called Mia hehe

  • Good stuff!

You're right, I have made that mistake, thanks!

  • That dog is beautiful! New one of yours? What breed?

I agree with whomever said this is a great mini tutorial, but the 4 dogs in a down stay on the bed behind you stole the show. :)

  • great starting point. but the cutest thing was the row of relaxed dogs on the couch behind you <3

  • feels better to watch you vids now that I know you get some revenue from it :)

    Keep up the good work!

(Using some of your methods with my cat, its a pain to train cats!)

  • ps I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!

  • good one! We use this without clicker. We just renforce when the dog stop muggin first and then, when naturally watch : first my arm, my shoulder, my face ... We called this doggy zen. helps dogs to learn self control, calm and naurally look at pet owner.

  • Great video! I should try that with the shelter dogs that I work with. The whole group of dogs were jumping on me and mugging my treat bag.

  • Thanks again ... ;)

  • My dog starts "shaking" my treat hand in some attempt to dislodge the treat
