pattern reading isn't something new folks and even if the direction of this development is different, it will be never as quick as a normal wired Input Device --> why? the signal needs to be translated in an electrical analog signal, after that in a discrete digital Signal --> That's quite a busy process.

Optical input device from "Minority Report" for instance, that's something we should investigate more. Signal Processing is the same as above, not neccessarily, but it offers more...

I thought about it and I kinda agree with what you said. But I believe that the power lies in both approaches. Kinda like Neural Impulse Actuator for the klicks (like with a keyboard) and Optical Input for moving the pointer (like with a mouse). Well, in the future there won't be a pointer anymore I guess. Thank you for making me think about it quinkxx, always appreciate it.

You forget one tiny detail quinkxx, how QUICKLY can a human reaction be done? - our reaction speed, assuming we're top notch and attentive to push the brake of a car is 0.7 seconds... so, as long as your signal is processed at or under that time, there's no delay is there? ;) - the REAL speed issue is going to be how quickly we react, and since all the videos I showed do not show a "lag" in the facial reactions, I do not think it will be an issue.Only my thoughs, no actual evidences :)
