The band recorded the song two different ways, and couldnt decide which way they liked it better, so they decided to include both versions on the album. Last time I saw them live, they did a sort of "hybrid" of the two...using "three hours away"'s lyrics (there are slight differences) but slowing it down to "where i was before"'s pace, and used both guitar and piano. It was amazing!

I think this song shows off Jim's voice so well, he has the most powerful voice i've ever heard - it gives me chills just to hear it sometimes.
