Sounds good, but that is not ska in any way. It's just fast. So perhaps you could call it punk? It is not ska. Crappy bands like Blink 182 have unfortuantely confused the kids of today as to what ska is.

The guitar player is playing on the downbeat, just faster than the song normally is played. To play ska, you must play on the upbeat...on the AND.

Like this: one AND two AND three AND...

All that said, keep playing and having fun, and play some actual ska!
