  • well it's really helped me and I'm still not perfect but i can hop to my feet while the wave is still green so that's good enough for me right now

  • getting straight to your feet does not mean you have a good pop up, getting to your feet in one move , in the centre of the board, always keeping the nose of the board down and holding speed means you have a good pop up. to do this you have to swing your hips to the centre, if u dont have this u must to learn it. knees in middle = hips in the middle 1 element of overall skill learned in five minutes. Add other elements, speed it up bingo perfect pop up, and your are riding waves longer + faster

  • becuase they are unaware how going to knees benifits u if u are using it correctly + as a learning process. it teaches u to bring your hips to the middle of the board which is where they need to be for the board to travel. It is only used to ensure all the elements of a good pop up are there and then you move quickly away from it. had 3 "improvers" out today, all could stand + ride sometimes but they lost speed/ wave becasue they didnt bring hips to middle of board.

  • why would you dislike this? its the best way to learn for a beginner?

  • @labhairgaelinn hi dropped a reply to yourcomment check it out and thanks for commenting
