it was 14" so about 35cm. It had a cataract on one eye which is quite common with these as they are quite temper mental and can bash themselves off the tank when startled. Also quite common in these is a case called 'drop eye' as you can see on his good eye. This is cased by having the tank too high and makes them look down instead of up as they would in the wild.
its really nothing to worry about as they will live for years with one healthy eye as long as they are not competing for food (and they will probably only turn in one direction :P)
