Stupid Scratcher is teaching people the wrong way...If you want to know how to tat get ahold of a reputable artist and PAY for an apprenticeship like the rest of us REAL artists had too.
illegals should be concerned: Now, if they committ crimes in Arizona, they may get caught ! OMG ! Did anyone listen to Ron Paul? Lets see... Spend what you have, defend America by having troops in America, trade with anyone, Oh, get rid of the federal reserve as now we see it isnt an American enterprise. Now, how could anyone vote again for Obama in 2012? His idea is: tax, marxism, fascism, become europe ! I wonder if people are stupid enough to vote twice for a Moron. watch my videos
i would never use deodarant to apply the stencil! green soap or stencil fluid. if you are worried about the stencil being wiped away then practice a new technique! if you are right handed start from the right hand side when lining so your hand dosnt go over the stencil then wipe to the right aswell so you dont wipe the stencil away and also use good elastic bands so you dont get too much ink spatter.
i have used green soap hundreds of times... when using the carbon transfer paper it works great and dries fast as hell... and it will not just wipe away. Only green soap or alcohol will remove it. NOW if you are using hectograph pencils then speedstick is the way to go just be wise of cross contamination. Use just enough to make the skin tacky that is all you need. To each there own every one has their "right way" of doing it just thought i'd share .
dont try to transfer with green soap! it doesnt sink the stencil in far enuf and just wipes away! use the origional detol! sanitary and locks the stencil on
Ok kiddos you dont want to use deoderant to apply the flash to skin.If your gonna tattoo spend the money and buy whats known as green soap(its not really green). You can get it at superior tattoo supply and its not that expensive
first as mentioned a million times. after u shave clean the fucken area and apply that shit with a tongue depressor not the deodorant stick now you infected the speed stick . you also dont apply a generous amount or it will smear.
oh ya and FYI i am also a tattoo and body art shop owner and i would never let you work near my shop. And i would tell all the other ones not to let you either...get a different job bitch.
oh im not mad...i just think its dumb how you put a vid up on here telling people how to tattoo...and its the totally the wrong way...you werent even wearing gloves...keep it up
and yes i did notice that guy without the gloves.. and i think thats the only thing he did wrong.. other than cleaning the area.. i think he didnt clean the area.. he just shaved it..
haha your prob a 13 year old kid that has nothing to do but post bullshit comments about how hes gonna kill people and shit...get a life. and i didnt even post any comments toward you so mind your own fag
Don't use Speedstick, unless you plan to buy one for each client. I use Dettol, it is a medical antiseptic solution that transfers themal stencils nicely and yet maintains a sterile work surface. Just before you are about to shave the surface, you may want to put on your gloves. Just a suggestion.
Would you use someone elses deoderant on your armpits, let alone on another part of your body that will soon be opened up with over a 1000 needle jabs? Or lets say the tattoo artist nicked you when they shaved you, which they may have done to the previous patient/client. Only that person has Hep C and now you do too!
Use your heads, it's not the easiest way to apply the stencil anyway...Surgilube or sonogram gel works really well.
Oh yeah imma just walk down to my local walmart and pick up some fuckin sonogram gel!?
when your using deodorant to apply a tattoo, just wipe a generous amount onto a fresh piece of paper towel and then rub it on the part you want to apply the tattoo, its inexpensive and easy to do, you dont need a shit load of this stuff.
Miami Ink and LA Ink are probably using single use deoderant- they also probably charge minimum 300$/hour for custom work. They can afford to by stock in speed stick.
Please think about this people, x43567, is absolutely correct! Follow your dream but be responsible! I have been doing this for only one year and it is complete common sense.
Yes, Speed Stick does the trick. Is it sanitary???? Probably not, and in my clinic, I would not take that risk. I use Dettol mixed with water in a spray bottle. This works very well and the Dettol also helps to disinfect the area. I have been doing this many years. I take pride in my work and in the sterile environment I employ. I have a tattoo "CLINIC" NOT a tattoo shop, or parlour, or studio. I encourage anyone who is interested in tattooing to pursue their dream. Be safe&responsible.
Well, Hi I was wondering, I was about to go into an apprenticeship, which I havn't begun yet, and I was wondering, that if I chose to do a free hand one, what would be a sanitary and safe way of doing them?
Like I actually prefer to draw onto the skin rather than use the carbon paper. Would I need to use the speed stick, or would it be straight pen ink then tat ink.
Don't worry I intend to be taught before actually putting any tattoos on anyone.
i have used both, there is nothing wrong with it i prefer soapy water only because it dries faster, and dont let the stencil move as much, but there is nothing wrong with doin it this way
i have 6 tattoos and they are all from clean sterile highly respected shops,........and they all used deoderant to apply the stencil. I've seen it done on Miami and LA iNK Too..........
soapy water with an antiseptic agent in it such as savlon liquid...there's too much risk of infection and cross contamination unless you want to buy a new speedstick for every person you tattoo...your equipment needs to be disposable and what isn't disposable needs to be properly sterilised between customers... where's the next video
i agree you should make sure all is single use, UNCENTED original speed stick is the deoderant that should be used, and to do single use try taking 2 large sticks of it unscrewing and melting it down in a steril container with a lid then use a paper towel to apply the speed stick to the client, but if you have to redip to apply more use a different paper towel, i like how speedstick transferes stencils and is one of the oldest methods in the book, and with what i stated it can be single use!

1. use a fresh tongue depressor to spread it so you keep the deodorant stick clean.
2. never double press a stencil or you'll get double lining.
3. do NOT use a generous amount, it makes the skin slippery and when you stretch the skin later on, you'll most likely wipe away the lining.
4. koi's swim upstream. your koi is swimming down, and backwards. genius.
you have no business trying to teach anyone. what you do is an insult to the rest of us trying to raise the bar in the tattoo industry.

when you shave the skin, it's already classified as being "broken"... therefore you should by NO MEANS use deodorant when transferring your stencils.
