greetings. clinton flores here,overall leader of this project. while i appreciate adoration (which i get a lot from this),i also accept criticisms. actually,this wasn't made for a trailer of a movie. this was just a teaser for an el filibusterismo play. we incorporated important and powerful scenes from noli so as to refresh the memory of the audience. i am also proud to say that we did this video in less than two weeks.
and our direction, editing, cinematography and acting may be "hilaw" as you called it,as high school students who have not undergone any professional training whatsoever,i think this teaser (including the actual play) was wonderfully done. i don't consider it trash since seeing the trailer alone,gives me goosebumps. thanks for the comment though,at least our video was worth posting a comment,right? :)

actually, the whole point was to give an overview of noli and give a preview of el fili because the story of el fili will be shown in our play. that's why el fili is shorter. this was clearly intended for a play in our school.

@anastaciojcruz Dude! I think you don't know the difference between constructive criticism and just plain criticism, or better yet destructive criticism. Because from your current justification, you are as if doing constructive criticism. I think you should go back a few pages and review what you wrote about these kids. If you cannot accept that you committed a mistake, then you better "SHUT THE FUCK OFF YOU IDIOT!".

You used the term "BASURA", "bulok" and you even talked about Bisaya cast as if we don't have a right to play the role of a Filipino character just because we are Bisaya. And please don't make the term prettier by using Visaya rather than the right term Bisaya. If you cannot say anything good, then you better stay what you are right now reading this comment like a petrified poop. :D

Okay, first of all they are just students. How do you expect 15 year olds to create professional trailers? They aren't studying Film so how do you expect them to know everything about editing, direction and cinematography?
Also your comment on implying that bisayas cannot be a cast of el fili is on the brink of racism. It's such a shame how someone can actually be racist to their own kind. Of course they have an accent, you cant take that away from them. We cant expect them to hide their accent

greetings. clinton flores here,overall leader of this project. while i appreciate adoration (which i get a lot from this),i also accept criticisms. actually,this wasn't made for a trailer of a movie. this was just a teaser for an el filibusterismo play. we incorporated important and powerful scenes from noli so as to refresh the memory of the audience. i am also proud to say that we did this video in less than two weeks.

and our direction, editing, cinematography and acting may be "hilaw" as you called it,as high school students who have not undergone any professional training whatsoever,i think this teaser (including the actual play) was wonderfully done. i don't consider it trash since seeing the trailer alone,gives me goosebumps. thanks for the comment though,at least our video was worth posting a comment,right? :)

i'm not bothered or hurt by the things you said except for one thing. BISAYA people cast for el fili? is that so unbelievable and ridiculous? well in fact, cesar montano (also a bisaya; he's from bohol) is the lead actor in the movie jose rizal. is he that bad? if tagalog people can do it,then the bisaya can! what makes us (bisaya people) any less of a person instilled with talent?

considering that they were just kids, we will be expecting that the trailer is not good as what we are seeing in television..BUT, considering you are a professional one, i think your comment are out of your bounds my dear..if you are comment like that, better to give it to those film makers..and infairness with that trailer, it was really good, no wonder it was the best in their school..hmmppf, you are a CRAP..you should learn when to give such criticisms..

Commendable!!!!!! I'm impressed by the creativity. I can imagine the difficulty and frustrations while shooting serious scenes with a bunch of playful high school kids. But you made them look like real actors and actresses in the trailer. Excellent!!!

Wow again!!! Lucky to view this trailer out of curiosity. Anyone with "HARSH COMMENTS" inggit lang. Show your work so we can judge how good you are. You don't know the reasons behind the putol putol, blanko na parte at bakit mahaba ang noli sa el fili dahil wala kang magandang na imagination.

hello there :) i'm clinton flores,overall leader of this project. uhh,to give justification to our group,this trailer was intended to be a recap for our play so as to refresh the memory of the people what happened in the previous book. as for the following excerpts from el fili,we just wanted the audience to catch a glimpse of what they're going to see in the actual play. i admire the criticism but i hope you understand the purpose for this trailer and read the info before posting such words.

it was a wonderful trailer.
kso nga lang po, ung pagsalita, hindi q maxadong nakuha ung expression. wala maxadong feelings, sa face and sa words.
nice choice of music po.
dpat mas pinahaba niyo po ang estorya ng el fili kesa sa noli. pero aus naman po kasi mas naipapakita kung ano ang history ng mga karakters. nice job po. :) i hope i could watch d muvi.

gusto nyo kasi ng popularity eh..... tpos, dun sa simula, may parteng naging blanko na. eh, naghihintay xempre ang viewer. tpos, di ba el fili yan, parang nagoccupy ng malaki ang noli... tpos, di ko type kung pano pinakilala si ibarra, putol putol eh.. and if we tok about ibarra, we are toking sa isang man na matipuno,. kulang pa ang emotions ng characters. good job.

i disagree.
actually, the whole point was to give an overview of noli and give a preview of el fili because the story of el fili will be shown in our play. that's why el fili is shorter. this was clearly intended for a play in our school.
seriously...this was never meant to be a movie. what are you? a critic much? and the names were added so the teacher would know the head of the committees because it's required duh...
in other words...selos ka lang ^_^
