@VentiWomanista Try using smaller parts so that you will be able to grip the hair better when you are braiding and twisting. Also be careful with the amount of product that you are using on the strands of hair.....this could potentially be effecting your grip and the hold of the twist.

@stop08it I would definitely suggest that you do NOT cut it, like some people would suggest. Try using either some hair jam, gel, grease, or even water, to lay your hair down as you braid and then twist. Thanks for watching!

i can't seem to get mine secure.. they always start like a quarter inch after the root of my hair :( any advice??

@MsDmoney92 I would recommend you grip the hair as tight as you can. You can also try making smaller parts, so that you can have more control of your grip.

Make sure that your hair isn't oily or full of product that could potentially effect the hold of the kinky twist. I know some products can cause more slip when braiding... hth:)

@baby8969.I'm sorry you couldn't find the right hair. Try looking for femi marley braid, sensational marley braid hair, or just ask the people at the store to help you look for the most popular kinky twist hair. The hair should not be expensive. It shouldn't be over 7.99. I've watched videos of people all over the country who have also purchased this type of hair and it never was over 5.99. Let me know if you still can't find it and I will go look at my local beauty supply for another name brand

@baby8969 All you'll need for the 9.99 a pack is 2 packs I believe. It's just shorter than the 4.99 hair. I use both kinds... They're the same type of hair..

@Wegotthemunchies135 It usually takes like 30min-1hr. I use a satin wrap to cover my hair on most nights. For curling the kinky twists, you need to rod the twists then dip them in hot water....hth!

@in88Him Lol...I have 3 methods! I usually part it and if it feels straight I will keep it going, but if I feel as if it's crooked I use 2 mirrors, and if I still feel as if the part may be crooked I ask for assistance from the hubby....lol
