This looks like every other 3d sonic fan game. Someone gets a 3d game maker engine and then inputs a shitty sonic model in it, then makes it so it runs fast and looks sloppy, and then the game stays like that forever and gets nowhere because the person behind has no skill to make anything.

who are you on the forum? And not quite true, the project isnt stopped, as other members are working on level designs, etc. I simply cant program until i get some ways into school as it is important to me. A demo should be seen around September if we're lucky

Looks really nice, I know its a level test an all but some advice to make it more realistic would be watch how you stretch environmental texures on things like rocks and trees. Possibly change the sand to something more realistic, and make use of motion bur. I know its justa tech test and it still looks great. Really good job.

i love your trailer it looks like something that would be an add for a ps1 game but with mesh deformation the texture of the rock tunnel thins are stretched and need to be mapped i know your probly planning on doin this im just saying. i love the fx and i wont comment on the animating because it unoticable exept for fast flashing feet

Yeah and this 'level' isnt even a level. It was rushed work for sage. The physics is being reprogrammed, and in doing so, will replace all Animations and the new model made by Bagjac. Check our website to see the model

Oh AND Depth of Field, nor do i think motion blur is in any ps1 game

It looks like a promising game but I wouldn't compare it with Sonic GL. If you did want to compare, smoothen up Sonic's running speed. The water needs some better overlapping effects, some blur effects are needed when Sonic begins to run fast, modelling should be touched up.

The water in the video is set at "no glsl", so you cannot see our watershader. Motion Blur has been temporarly disabled for the video but is fully toggle-able along with Depth of Field. There already is a new sonic model, but its not in game for trailer. Most of everything i am discussing is at the booth.
