Yeah, Voltaire is not a comercial musician indeed. Hence the fact that he does not attend to a specific "genre" of music, as he runs through different kind of traditional genres to help express the idea of the song, which is another factor, since his lyrics are different from other kind of songs, not trying to sound touchy and artsy.
