  • Cute but did not work. Leaves rotted, how often do you change water? How long before roots come? When do you transplant?how?etc.etc.

  • @mirasprofile

My Neighbor Got some rose stems from me while I was cutting down my roses a bit for summer ,But he didn’t put it in water or so , they planted right away in the good fresh soil from store & water them a bit every other day , took him around couple years till establish & got some rose flowers, But only water don’t cut it..need a nutritions & oxygen from soil to grow roots and so on..anyway did real work for him and saw alots Rose buds on them few years after.

  • you are too cute and adorable and thanks for the info...

  • Please be gentle when you move the camera around. That was painful. And I agree with nick1f. Show us a progress report, like how the roots developed later.

  • He should have strip the leaves off of the lower stem. Leaves under water rot and stagnate the water......But bless his little green at heart thumb. Daddy had me transplanting tomatoes and veggie plants in the green houses at the age of five. .

  • It depends upon the cultivar. easy to root garden roses usually root very well in water.

  • I loved this video! you are a master gardener in the making. it takes guts to post a video on youtube about growing roses. just keep doing it okay?

  • Buddy, you should also show what happened with the stem a few weeks down the track. Did it grow roots or did it die?
