  • to think of all the beer wasted in this video D*:

  • Man, think how much practice it must have taken to do that barrel dancing stuff. Even if they used strings (and I can't tell if they did or didn't) it must have taken some serious effort.

  • To beer! The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.

  • Lady, you're barred!!

  • 2:38 - My Life Story *sigh*

  • I love the terribly done lip synching XD

  • This is what we would call Hell on earth

  • Nora doing the coyote ugly dance. LOL

  • lol, I love this part! as a kid I never really got what was going on, I just thought it looked really funny (especially with Nora and the barrels, lol). 17 years old and I still love this movie :)

  • It's so fricken random LOL

  • I just don't understand this... Why is Nora smiling and dancing when the barrels burst? WHY did the burst the barrels? This is a combination of "Best thing ever" and "WTF did I just watch". xD

  • @xXSunnyKimXx Well, it's an upbeat, happy musical number which explains the smiling. Alchohol (which is in the barrels) is carbonated and when you shake something carbonated it explodes. When the barrel was spinned, the alcohol began to react as the same way as if it was shaken, and began to build up pressure, so it burst the place it could, which was where the was least pressure (the cork in the barrel).

  • Mickey Rooney!...right?

  • If only all Bars could be like this.

  • I guess there never was a dragon. Let's go completely destroy this bar through song and dance in order to emphasize this point.

  • hope she pays for breaking all those glasses ;)

  • Thanks for posting this! @ac120479 I was in a bar like this one time. It was a teepee on top of a mountain in Switzerland

  • The faces this guy makes are classic

  • If I ever see anything like this at a bar, I'll die a happy man.

  • @MegaWolflover1 Pete's Dragon!

  • i´d love to have the german version this complete! :-)

  • I always thought the barrel thing made Helen Reddy look like a whore... and then with that finish... come on...

  • Was Mickey Rooney actually a drunk, or was he just really good at acting out a drunk?

  • every bodies drunk in that place

  • mickey rooney song scene is funny and very good.

one of the best disney movies

  • i LOVE LAMPIE AT 5:02-5:04!!!!!! BLESS HIM I LOVE HIM X X X

  • I love how she gives up, and joins in on the hilarity...Mickey Rooney is so great in this. I can't decide which is my favorite scene, but this one's definitely up there.

  • Original lyrics after "Ol' lampy's in a stew" at 2:40:

"a dragon, a dragon, Ol' Lampy saw a dragon"

    "He's bleary-eyed!"

    "He's ossified!"

    "He's tighter than a tick"

"he had too much to drink today so call a doctor quick!"

(woman) "I'd better takhim home to bed before you make him sick!"

    (Lampy) "We're sunk! We're sunk!"

"Go on with ye yer drunk!"

  • The broadcast TV version ends the scene at around 3:12. I guess it's a little uncomfortable having such a wild glorification of alcohol on network TV in a family movie.

  • Anyone else think that this is every bartender;s worst nightmare and evrery mans dream? :P

  • where is the bartender by the way? :p

  • he was chasin everyone trying to get them to cease in a calm manner, notice it didn't work. look for the guy in the apron with his hand on his head trying to stop lampy and again trying to stop the guys riding the barrels on the floor.

  • @188Kyle So...There is no such as a bartender who is a man? xD

  • Am I the only one who thinks this - along with Darby O Gill - would be the BEST double feature for St. Patrick's?

  • One of the best, but least credited Disney Movies. *sigh*

  • So true... its so amazingly underrated.

  • @Iishieboo You are 100% correct well heres the real story i believe, the producers of the movie and song writers were not own by Disney not under contract they worked with Columbia Pictures who agreed to work with Disney. Disney knew they had a hit and wanted to buy out the Brothers who wrote the play and co-wrote songs but they didnt want to be bought out Disney didnt like that so they pulled their support of their own co-filmed movie! sad Disney has big ego and no one says no to Disney

  • @Iishieboo 2nd part Disney uses Elloit and Pete in the Electric parade but no one else and they dont sell plush animals of the dragon and they really never marketed it to the next generations like they do with ALL of the other Disney Films! its sad they finally re-released it on DVD and CD music probably one the best for the whole family films snuffed by Disney there was to be a sequel but the rights were nevr given to any one company and Disney said they would not work with Columbia again

  • @Iishieboo You can thank the stuffy, stuck up critics for that.
