I paid $25 for 1 bag at Whole Foods in Cary, NC -- I knew not all would go to the purpose but I was hoping that at least some would... after all I am a city slicker and feel good by "donating" money. In fact I was gonna get one for everyone on my Christmas list ... till I saw this video. I should've known ... good things don't come easy.
The Bushes! Right off the bat, $25-10=$15 went to who? The making of this video and paying for the ladies feel good trip?
Thanks for supporting FEED! Each FEED 100 bag sold includes a $10 donation to FEED 100 children in Rwanda! To fairly produce our organic cotton, reusable grocery bag, we pay over $10 in production and shipping. We also made a visit to Rwanda, with Whole Foods Market, to capture images (like this video) of what WFP school-feeding is all about. Unfortunately, we can't produce a great bag and a great educational campaign about school-feeding for free!! Thanks again for your support.
It cost $10 to make the bags. They are made FREE TRADE which means that the people who are making these bags are being paid fairly. Then there is a $5 postal charge. Hope this helps you understand why you paid $25.
I got a FEED 5 bracelet for Christmas . I wanted to help these poor people Im glad I got this bracelet to help. I love my FEED 5 bracelet! :}:]:}
