The HDD camcorder turns off when its shaking a lot to protect it. But there is and option in the settings to turn that off and it will record no matter how much it's shaking.
Trust me i've brought my camera on a roller coaster before.
And the fast access speed is just bull shit. They make the HDD camera look like it's retarded. Which its not. The buttons are totally not like that. (at least not for mine)
The Temperature stuff is also full of shit.
