  • there's no way this guy is a trainer, zero control on his movements, no core stability (one of the very first concerns a trainer targets), won't even explain the science behind the idea of high rep/super setting/drop setting, or the advantages/disadvantages of hammer curls vs twisting girls vs supinated curls vs preacher vs spider, etc. 3 muscles consist of the anterior/ventral portion of the upper arm, and you're only targetting one, and you're doing it terribly

  • Your form is horrible. Stop slinging the weight. You have WAY too much body movement going on. You're getting about 10% out of this workout that you should be getting. Slow and under control my friend...That's how you get big biceps.

    First set, start with a weigt that you can do 40 reps with Then the next set, maybe 25 reps. If you like do another set with the same...but don't wait completely 3 minutes...wait about a minute and a half for the third set. Then start increasing till your doing about 15 reps a set, and just do three more sets. That will do fine, and you won't hurt yourself. Older guys get elbow problems doing curls, and also from doing benches. So they need to use low weight&hi reps.

  • slow down ur reps dum ass, slower the reps the better, wen u just let the weights drop it shocks ur joints not good, let the weights down slow an feel ur bicep decontracting, while its very good contracting the muscle you also need to be able to decontract, advice for anyone, slow reps, bout 2-3 seconds on the up stroke and 2-3 seconds on the down stroke, need any tips im just a message away :)

  • @xibbox hey oryt but, ok um all thats doing is building indurance, u wana move it up to a weight that u can only manage round 16 with a struggle, once you have that weight you want to do about 8 to 14 reps in 4 to 5 sets, u wil probz ache an hurt after it but after a while your muscles will adapt and get used to the strain. for you actualy movement, breath out on the hardest part, curly weight to ur chest an breath in on the easy part lowering the weight.

  • @xibbox wasnt enough room to finish comment, the timing of each rep is also very important to, arround 5 seconds for each rep is perfect 2 seconds up hold for 1 second an 2 seconds down. after each set take a 30 second break to gather ur breath ready for the next set, im only 17 to the thing i find hardest is weight gain, the more i work out the more ripped i get, so u may want to consider weight gainer if you have the same problem, any other questions, message me :)

  • There is some truth to this as far as getting a pump. I used hammers and stretch bands b4 hitting the bodybuilding stage, but for size they wont give you the microtears needed for growth. I stick to heavy sets no more than 7 reps and basic movements for growth. Not a bad vid though
