It's no wonder that broadbill swordfish was disoriented once it was released by the ROV operator. It had probably been stuck sideways in there for hours.
If I had been the ROV guy, I wouldn't have released my Kung fun Grip on it. I would've brought it up to the surface for some tasty, tasty sword steaks.

Why would a fish like that get stuck in there in the first place? They don't normally just swim into things they can't get out of....
