@sidheartraja I think U2's Pop is the 2nd best 90s album in its genre after Radiohead's OK Computer. Songs like Miami, Please, Do you feel loved are way-way underrated pieces of psychedelia influenced alternative & art rock. It's been 13 years since I first heard that album and it rocks like a perfect classic for me!

Back in 1997, I was 14 years old, MTV was good, the songs wore good, not this crappy today... I spent a lot of time here, in youtube, searching for the greats songs of that time. If I had a chance to go back in time, I would go to 97. Of course, with my age and money now. :-)

I'll never forget the 1997 era - Oasis, The Verve, U2, Radiohead, Aerosmith, Jon Bon Jovi, Blur, Kula Shaker, 3rd Eye blind, etc. There was a lot of good pop stuff too that year. I used to be a pop music & an MJ fan before late 1997. Then Oasis' Be here now turned me into a rock fan forever. And I bought several rock albums within 3-4 months.
