Maybe Bree describes Edward's hair differently than Bella. If she said reddish brown hair then that kind of sounds like Bella.....

@ShaimReviews For Meyer's sake, I hope your statement is inaccurate. Reason being, I've gotten a crapload of criticism for my story "Princess Of The Damned," and I still want to find a publisher for it. I don't get why some people are so terrified of a few bad opinions. Not everyone likes what we writers put out. It's the harsh truth of this profession... Meyer should've known that since she didn't like a few stories herself.

I get she's a fictional depiction of Meyer, but even my have my own self-inserts go through some hardships, if only to give the readers something to relate to. Though I also know that never intended to publish her flop-tastic series...

this book was so good it definitely cleared up a lot of things about the characters of Bree, Riley and Victoria. i found myself almost in tears at the end even though i knew she was going to die and the silent exchange between her and Edward was the icing on the cake i give it a definite five stars its a must read, another great book from Stephanie Meyer.

You have a lovely voice by the way, anywho I'm only halfway through the book and I just have to say it kind of annoys me how Bree after one day with being around Diego suddenly falls for him. But then this is Meyer and asking for realistic love and all that is asking far too much. Still Bree seems a bit more entertaining to read from than Bella, actually I would love to read from Leah's POV. Now that would be better! Thanks for your opinions! ^_~

This book was rly good. I got to see Eclipse from Bree's POV, and I Her story made me almost cry. Seeing her back story made it easier to understand what happened with the army of Newborns and made Eclipse easier to understand. I wouldn't mind if SM did more books like this

The red hair thing bugged me too. Its been some time now since ive read the first book and that totally threw me off because I started to question myself on what I remember him originally being described as. She wrote the book when she wrote Eclispe, thats why its an "Eclispe Novella". She said she would have added that book with Eclispe but her publisher said Eclispe wsa already long enough, so they would just let it out later as a short novel.

it only bugged me slightly, but stephenie meyer is with an "e" rather than an "a" lol. and yeah, the red-hair thing had me a little put-off too for a second there. but then i realized that, like, vampires have EXCELLENT sight (in her books) and everything, so it might make more sense that she saw more red than brown. if you have time, i have a t-i-n-y review up as well, lemme knwo whatcha think :)

The book was so amazing .... I love it. At the end i absolutley cried, even i knew how it will end. You can understand Bree and her view and you can suffer with her. But the thing with RED HEAD is true....in twilight, his hair is brown - red. In the movies his hair is blond - gold and in The short second life of bree tanner its red...maybe stephenie is color - blind haha no i think that everyone sees edward with other eyes. at any rate is bree a very strong character and i absolutley love her.<3

The book was amazing. I recommend that all fans read Eclipse and stop at the chapter where alice see's a vision of the graduation party and "the decision to come for Being made" and start reading the Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. Trust me!
