How did you learn piano chords, melodies etc

@VendettaBeats thanks, that means a lot... as far as chords and melodies I started playing by ear. Later I started research music theory and found out that a lot of chords I thought I made up were real chords lol. You should start by buying a piano chord book. It will list chords and variations of chords. Once you learn a few you can break the chords down into melodies by playing each note of the chord in different orders.
