Amazing landscape. Almost as extreme as space travel. Using the resources, plastics, metal, diesel, clothing and firearms from down South to support operations very far North. I'd love to peek into the future and see what the future of Svalbard will be 100, and 500 years from now. Is there a good book I can read that gives the history of Svalbard? Someone must has written a comprehensive history by now.
