I was there just like the rest of you and I have to say maynard is so incredibly briliant, that concert raped. Best concert i have ever been to, amazing encore song also
Man I was at this show and all I can say is it will be one of the best experiences of my life. And now that they're coming here to Seattle at the end of this same tour, I'm going again! Amazing doesn't even begin to describe the feeling of being there. Ground level dead center of it all is where I was at.
I was in the 9th row smack in the center and the show was awesome, although i wish they wouldnt have spent the 45+ minutes on wings of Marie and such....top to bottom one of the loudest concerts ive been to.
Was it Danny and that guy from "Big Business"? I have seen some "duets" on Lateralus that featured that drummer. Saw 'em in May and they kicked absolute ass...
Great concert!! However, I was sitting in section 319 and the sound wasn't so great..could barely hear Maynard. I'm sure the floor sounded 10X better, but I think the setlist was awesome!! Can't wait to see them again in another 5 years!!!
haha that was hilarious maynard totally dissed that jackass and everyone booed for the demo throwing douche. u dont do that shit at a tool show bro lol. great show first time seeing tool hope i can again one day.
Not sure if it's a Missouri thing or not but I'd rather not have people moshing, I'm sure the band feels the same way. Who wants to see a bunch of morons running into each other?
fuck yeah dude i was there! wish they would have played a little more stuff from lateralus, but shit, its tool!. remember when maynard was talking about how he was going to go listen to that demo for 10 minutes? my friend threw his band's demo cd up there hah
well that was his choice, hes about 30 and was drunk off his ass, i was sitting nowhere near him when this happened, and i only found out about this after the concert was over. you dont even know the amount of respect i have for Tool dipshit.
may be so, but he was pissed about it because maynard broke the cd. so i told him that 1, it could have happened to anyone, and two, that it isnt wise to throw shit at any band, especially Tool
WFT?!?!?! Tool was great but i'm sick of people playing down Melt Banana. I think they put on a great show, they are just out of place for a stadium crowd as they are a small venue band in which moshing and stage diving can take place. They were extremely full of energy and are freaking technical at their practices(actually more so then Tool).
omg yes everything was awesome about the show last night. (except "melt Banana") wish somebody could have gotten really good footage of the show. i cant believe they actually had chairs down on the floor. imo that was gay. the lighters was too cool. and they did an awsome job with the light show as well. wish i could go and see it again. thanks for the vid, takes me back to the "good 'ol days" lol
ha i had to tape that damn camera to my leg right up by my crocth to get it in....i have a few more videos and then all of wings for marie its all sound though and then the lighters at the end
Fantastic show!! I loved every minute, even when Maynard remarked about the 10 minutes he was going to have to stop the show for to go listen to someone's F'ing demo. One of the best shows I've ever seen!!
Was there as well...about 20 rows directly left of the stage!

That's retarded, even this recording had better sound quality than the show I just saw.
It was only on Maynard's mike tho, the rest sounded awesome ... or maybe I was too far back, no idea.
Still, I got to hear the godliest drum duo of all times.

DUDE I WAS AT THIS VERRY SHOW IN STL AND IT WAS AMAZING!
but serioulsy what did you think of that opening band melt banana?
it would of ben nice if tool played eulogy or Anima but atleast maynard was out on the stage instead of behind a sheat.

What a great show,The wife and I had floor seats in section c row 3 and LOVED IT.
Maynards urban cowboy stance made for some great pics.
If anyone in the front smelled SKUNK WEED that was me...LOL
I passed out about 4 free joints during this song.
Only the best smoke for my fellow tool heads.

What's with having the chairs on the floor? Is this the new thing? Is this how Tool wants it?
I heard that they don't really like people moshing at their shows. (makes sense to me, Tool is more of a mindfuck show)
BUT, when I saw them at Cape Girardeau (a really small town) they seemed to be pissed that no one could move. I don't get it.

It's so strange to listen to a revolutionary band like Tool and be confined to a 5x5 square.
