The Catholic Church admits former President of St Patrick's College Maynooth, Monsignor Micheál Ledwith, made a private settlement with a minor over sexual abuse.
His abrupt retirement in 1994 was a shock. -served for nine years, and wrote the history of the College...
The college had nothing to do with the settlement. The confidentiality clause in it, impeded their investigation because the vital evidence of the complainant was not available.
Contrary to what Ledwith says, Plato's allegory of the cave shows that the intellectual elite have understood the processes by which they can sub-humanize and control the masses for at least 2500 years. Ledwith should focus more on the "diseases of the mind" found among self-idolizing ubermensches---whether they be "religious," like Pope Rat, or "secular," like Bill Clinton.
@DiosReina are you asking if there is a Spanish version So far no....I have had my interview with HRM, the sungazer translated into Spanish and I have one with Marshall Rosenberg coming up in German but so far no one has offered to do this in Spanish
so what's wrong with that? There has been so much misinformation against the Catholic church that to actually hear some of the thoughts for many people in America is almost mind blowing! Why disparage that?
Hmm he is no longer in the Catholic Church - and he left Maynooth in scandal which nearly led to an criminal investigation by the Irish police. and it is considered that he is now a member of a cult etc
Everything he's talking about is the practice of Human Revolution practiced by the Soka Gakkai. By Chanting Nam Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo, people can realize they are buddhas and they have the power of the universe in their consciousness.
Man...when she began to say that people used only a small portion of their brain thats when I wanted to smack her in the face. A gunshot, or a pin going through your brain will cause severe deficiencies in your ability to function (if you survive). That old myth that we only use 10% of our brain is complete nonsense.
I wish the interviewer was as smart as Dr Ledwith or at least had some knowledge of medical science.
Amazing, extremely good points, the challenge is how people are willing and ultimately take it upon themselves in their lives', God and the universe, I feel a revolution approaching (for the good), but only if we claim it.
excellent interview! to hear an 'insider' speak of the perversion of the wisdoms that are about freeing our minds and allowing us to pursue expanding potentials is a resounding vibration. watching the interview is like watching two priest/ess of light unlocking cell doors that have hindered greater knowledge and wisdom! WOOHOO!!!
Thank you for posting this. I've long viewed religion as a means of manipulation, in my experience anyway. My problem with the idea that what someone suffers is their own fault is that it victimizes the individual again and gives others more reason to simply turn away.. I'm thinking specifically of victims in Darfur, Rwanda, etc.
yes if you check out my work with Marshall Rosenberg (creator of Nonviolent Communication) you will see he says the same thing you have observed. Yet if it were not the case we would not be God within
There may well be far greater "miracles" being carried out all the time - it just depends on if you can see them! I think beings clump together in "orbs" of shared belief systems and think this is the only "reality" there is! Although I've had several little glimpses into a higher awareness, at the moment I'm somewhat stuck in this one! By the way is anyone aware who the man in the picture on the wall is - he was an alleged "miracle worker" himself - and he may still be around!
The 2 metalic objects (in Sathya Sai Baba's orphanage) excrete amrit many times their own volume 24/7 for the last 20 to 30 years! This may very well be one of the last publicly viewable miracles on Earth! Worth the trip to India alone. I can't wait for Physicists to see this one!
For more info Google for: "Miracles at Sri Ranga Patna orphanage"
Look at Sathya Sai Baba - these days he has to fake his miracles, when earlier in his life he had real siddhis. Fortunately, there's still SOLID proof of his miracle powers in an orphanage in Mysore where 2 small medals 24/7 excrete "Amrit" (tastes like liquid honey with a strong hint of rose -it is supposed to be "Ambrosia"). I saw this with my own eyes - it is unmistakably not fake/illusion/trickery.
They (Kaleshwar students)treat him nearly as if he is God on Earth, when in reality the man is quite simple, even if possessing Siddhi powers. Respect for the Guru has turned nearly into worship. Remember, siddhi powers is not equal to Enlightenment, only an attestement of very strong will power, concentration skills and certain levels of purity. Further, because Siddhi powers rely on the above pre-requisits, they can be lost even easier than they were obtained.
The path that Kaleshwar (mentioned at the very end)is one of attaining siddhi powers by means of repeating mantras, performing certain rituals and also to meet Mother Divine. Assuming for a second that this is all possible (and it may very well be - I speak from personal experience with him), it seems to miss the main point. There is no need to attain siddhi powers, learn Vastu or meet up with Mother Divine in order to attain Enlightenment.

I'm not a Theist, I'm not an Atheist, I'm not an Agnostic, I'm finally free.
This is where I am coming from on being a volunteer and not a victim. thanks for asking
