  • Thanks for the tips.

I will be thinking of retro game collecting soon, but I would need a new book shelf with glass cabinets in order to try and collect retro games if I plan to do that.

My current gaming cabinet is so full of mostly the current gen games, but in the next few years those current generation games would become retro games.

So if I do plan on doing that in the future, like in 2015 or 2020, I will need to live on my own and have a new bookshelf to do that.

  • PM if you want to know how to get the printable lists

  • Nevermind. I just remembered it's from Braid isn't it?

  • I have that same exact red pacman ghost on your shelf. :P is it like a tin that ha candy in it ? haha

  • 1:24 Megaman sneaks away from the shelf

  • lol dude finds another spot to chill

  • Awesome thanks for the tips

  • Great video with some great tips. I used to seriously collect games, and some of the tips such as making lists to keep on your phone and using it to check videogamepriceguide (which I'd not known about) are really helpful. Looking forward to watching the second and third installments next.

  • @mstrsmth I really should make more of these. I'll try to think up some more tips.

  • @xxxDavidMaysxxx I've got way too many games. Gotta condense them all into one spot, might as well look good. :)

  • whts the star trek symbol?

  • @TheJ3wfro It's a VHS movie boxset.

  • @DlNKYDANA cool

  • thanks for the great help, this is gonna make my gameboy n64 collection much better, i subscribed nad hope to watch more

  • Thank you for the very helpful tips Dana!

  • VideoGamePriceCharts is very under priced for anything mint. Asking people is absolutely right, even at tag sales also. Very good vid, thanks.

  • I know what u mean about people just not caring about the price that they get for them because I remember my friend my friend was selling like 100 PS1 games for £10 ($16) but unfortinatly he had already promised to sell them to somebody else.

  • @SimonsGameShow Ahh, that stinks man. I've missed out on some deals like that too.

  • Thanks for this. The video game chart website helped me realize that when I bought my copy of Ico that they basically GAVE me money. I got it for $10. Hehehe.

  • hey man i just came across your videos, there really awesome. keep it up!

  • @briangeorge4182 Thanks man.

  • Is that the Legend of Zelda DS in the background?

  • @matster333 Nope, it's just a normal DS and a Zelda lunchbox. lol And the original NES Zelda on the top shelf. = D

  • great video once again! and thanks great tips!

  • Good tips. Thanks! :)

  • Your xmas give away was really cool mate. And I love the idea of the note pad on the phone to remember the titles...

I checked out Digital Press but couldnt find the GameCube list??

Really cool video... I also knock people down at the Car Boot Sales I go too ha ha!! Has to be done mate ;o)

  • Go to online rarity guide then click on the top where it says "To create printable lists, click here" and it's listed under Gamecube, not Nintendo Gamecube.

  • @DlNKYDANA og i see now mate cheers for that very cool... its funny how every sites list is slightly different isnt it ha ha cheers ;o)

  • Thanks for tips buddy.

  • You probably have the most clear voice on Youtube. Good work and I hope to see more videos in the future

  • Thank Nintendoman!

  • Did you ever remember the name of the NES game? Did you have to buy the digital press list? I can't find it :(

  • @jillpoo3 No, I never remembered the name. And about the lists, they are free. When you go on the site click online rarity guide, then at the top there is a place to click to "create quick printable lists".

  • Sweet thanks!! This will help me out alot!!! Did you check out some of the collection pics on that site? Some of them are out of this world!!

  • @jillpoo3 No, I actually haven't looked at those. I will thought when I get home from work. Now I'm curious. lol

  • Speaking of Dups I got a couple for the NES Maniac Mansion and Castlevania II. Both are loose if your interested or need them let me know!

  • @thegoon02 Thanks but I've already got those two.

  • An enjoyable informative tips vid mate!

  • Ouch! Good tips man! I did not know about the list with the check box, it's very good to know. I will develop my own software to manager my games...but for now it will be very helpful.

    Thank you!

  • Great Video :) ,it's very informative and interesting to see how you collect your games in USA. Here in France it's very difficult because we have much less choice and it's also very expensive. Fortunately you can buy on the internet today, otherwise we would play for nothing XD.

  • @AzumaKazuma31 To be honest, it's pretty easy over here. So many people get rid of their old stuff and for really cheap. I guess it's all about where you look, but online is still the only way to go for rare games.

  • Awesome. I look forward to your next video. I'd love to know how to make better videos.

The Memo pad in the phone is a good idea. I have a huge excel list, but it is no help on the go.

  • You got 1 more sub. Nice informative video's.

  • @Xvid85 Thanks Xvid!

  • I went to a carboot this morning and literally just as I got to a table some woman had bought FF7,FF8 and FF9 for 2 pound. I was pissed.

  • @roundtr1p Dang, that stinks. I know the feeling. I was just at the flea market today and the guy said someone had just bought a stack of Sega CD games!! Who knows what I missed!

  • 1:25

    MEGA MAN MOVED!

  • @awesomepivots Lol, funny you didn't realize the Magnavox Odyssey 3000 and Darth Vader helmet that appeared! haha

  • Good tips bro, say where did you get that Mega Man in the background?

  • @DeathAdder83 I got it from my friend ACCardshark. I'll be mentioning it in a video soon.

  • Great video dude, some really great tips there, really enjoyed watching this :)

  • Very informative! All the tips are pretty good. I'll have to start using video game price charts because that looks pretty cool.

  • Awesome video! Wish i had a flea market or just any place here that sold retro games. I used to when I stopped playing video games for about 10 years. Of course now i do again and all those stores are gone and the thrift shops don't sell them either. Ebay is the only way i can get my retro stuff. :(

  • Very informative DD!

  • Awesome tips video, man. Looking forward to the next one.

  • Very helpful vid!

  • Hey very informative video Dinky. That price chart site is very informative for sure, and digipress is an awesome sight. Thanks for sharing my friend.

  • Nice video, thanks for the great tips.

  • awesome vid man!

I have an extra copy of shadowrun genesis

if you're interested in a trade.

  • @elcheapouno Yeah, I'd be interested if I have stuff you want. Also, I'm not sure if the Genesis one is the same as the SNES version. The one I was recommended was on the Super Nintendo and I just assumed they were the same.

  • Nice one Dinky. Looking forward to the next Tips vid.

  • Great video, very good collecting tips. I look forward to watching the other videos! 5*

  • might a room tour be in order?

  • @paridisegrowth Highly unlikely. = (
