I will be thinking of retro game collecting soon, but I would need a new book shelf with glass cabinets in order to try and collect retro games if I plan to do that.
My current gaming cabinet is so full of mostly the current gen games, but in the next few years those current generation games would become retro games.
So if I do plan on doing that in the future, like in 2015 or 2020, I will need to live on my own and have a new bookshelf to do that.
Great video with some great tips. I used to seriously collect games, and some of the tips such as making lists to keep on your phone and using it to check videogamepriceguide (which I'd not known about) are really helpful. Looking forward to watching the second and third installments next.
I know what u mean about people just not caring about the price that they get for them because I remember my friend my friend was selling like 100 PS1 games for £10 ($16) but unfortinatly he had already promised to sell them to somebody else.
Thanks for this. The video game chart website helped me realize that when I bought my copy of Ico that they basically GAVE me money. I got it for $10. Hehehe.
Go to online rarity guide then click on the top where it says "To create printable lists, click here" and it's listed under Gamecube, not Nintendo Gamecube.
@jillpoo3 No, I never remembered the name. And about the lists, they are free. When you go on the site click online rarity guide, then at the top there is a place to click to "create quick printable lists".
Ouch! Good tips man! I did not know about the list with the check box, it's very good to know. I will develop my own software to manager my games...but for now it will be very helpful.
Great Video :) ,it's very informative and interesting to see how you collect your games in USA. Here in France it's very difficult because we have much less choice and it's also very expensive. Fortunately you can buy on the internet today, otherwise we would play for nothing XD.
@AzumaKazuma31 To be honest, it's pretty easy over here. So many people get rid of their old stuff and for really cheap. I guess it's all about where you look, but online is still the only way to go for rare games.
@roundtr1p Dang, that stinks. I know the feeling. I was just at the flea market today and the guy said someone had just bought a stack of Sega CD games!! Who knows what I missed!
Awesome video! Wish i had a flea market or just any place here that sold retro games. I used to when I stopped playing video games for about 10 years. Of course now i do again and all those stores are gone and the thrift shops don't sell them either. Ebay is the only way i can get my retro stuff. :(
Hey very informative video Dinky. That price chart site is very informative for sure, and digipress is an awesome sight. Thanks for sharing my friend.
lol I do that too I have a note pad on My iphone with all the games that are in my hit list ^_^ Yeah always have double copys of games just incase some one wants one ^_^
@elcheapouno Yeah, I'd be interested if I have stuff you want. Also, I'm not sure if the Genesis one is the same as the SNES version. The one I was recommended was on the Super Nintendo and I just assumed they were the same.
Thanks for the tips.
