my problem with the new bond is that, he's just too physically strong!!! bond isn't the type of guy who beats more than three huge guys at once with brute strength...he'd classically use some gaget or his brain to find a solution...and he'd NEVER break off a door handle with his bare hands...

Not really, it's in pretty much everyone's interest to "properly train" their guys, so 1 vs. 3 will only favor the one if it's a trained soldier or guard vs. three bar toughs, not a trained combatant of any (or no) stripe vs. three of any other stripe.

You'd assume a secret agent would have better training than a normal combatant. That's like taking an guy from the SAS to fight 3 Regular squaddies who are properly trained. The guy in the SAS would most likely win.

Again, probably not. Why in God's name would you train a secret agent, whose job is to avoid direct confrontation, more thoroughly than someone whose job is to go right into the thick of it? The idea of secret agents being better trained in direct, open, face-to-face combat than soldiers is pure Hollywood.

But if and when the circumstances arise they have to be exceptional in their field. That means they will have alot of training in hand to hand combat. Granted, they wont actually engage as much as any film shows. In fact the job is alot of information gathering discreetly, little fighting, and pieces small pieces of reports together to get the full picture. But the training is still there.

lol you have to understand that, this is the start of Jame's career, Q never came into the gadget scene till sean connery ...so what else does he have to fight with? Its supposed to show that he's a bit wreckless when he first starts off as a 00 and then as he gets a bit older, he becomes more refined and clean cut, and thats when people like sean connery or roger moore play into the picture. I mean this was a big change from the previous movies it was good to see a different side of bond
